Four Years Ago ~

Time is just flying by.  I can't believe today marks four years of retirement.  I questioned whether I was making the correct decision.  After four years, it is a resounding YES.  I have loved every day of it and can count on one hand the times I have been bored.  Retirement may not be for everyone.  I'm not sure what people do who don't have a hobby.  I don't have that problem.  There are just not enough hours in the day.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs 😊

I can not believe it has been 4 years already!!! When we were shut down for 2 and half months I did not have one day I thought now what do I do? I went to bed tired most nights. You are right hobbies and friends are the key! Lucky lucky you!

I do remember your hesitation and worry. But can't believe it was FOUR years ago! Good grief.

I agree. Retirement was the best gift I have ever given myself.

Yup, it is a holiday every day when you're retired. And I too remember your hesitation.

OH!!!!! Meant to say your hooking projects are wonderful, love that pumpkin in the box too. I'm sure I've a box I could do seasonal pieces for too, will have to look around my myriad of dust collector boxes.

Best gift ever! Mine was 4 years the end of May. Too busy to be bored. All your projects are wonderful, keep on hooking, stitching,........

Wow...really? 4 years??? It just doesn't seem like that long ago...and I have been in and out of blogging in that time. But yeah....I agree....on all accounts. Don't think many say they wish they would have kept working "longer"....and those that might say that, I would venture to say they have no hobbies and I feel sorry for them. For me, I think that I am more occupied "now" than "then"....I just keep finding more things to amuse my small mind with I guess. In any event, Happy Retirement Anniversary!! ~Robin~

I know what you mean! Days aren't long enough to get done everything I want to do...not to mention the things I should do! I don't understand people who are bored, or who can't find something to do. I will not finish all the things I want to do in my lifetime...and my kids will have one big pile of things to sort and get rid of!

I love,. love, love retirement!! And you are correct...there are just not enough hours in the day. I had a neighbor ask me yesterday if I missed working. Well... I work every day now. I'm just doing all the things I love instead of leading the drama at a job. LOL
