Easter Around the House ~

Another Easter will soon be in the past.  It just dawned on me I never found the Dancing Bunnies rug to display.  Always next year, God willing.

I probably put out more Easter than many people put out at Christmas.  (They are much smarter than me!)  Here is a quick trip around the house!

In my purging, I found this little bunny who hasn't seen the light of day in many moons.  Part of the old trim on her apron is falling apart.

Isn't this just the sweetest?  Lift her dress and there is a baby bunny💘

Decor in no particular order.

Sweet egg painted by my mom and the two bunnies are one of the few ceramic items I painted back in the day.

More of my mom's beautiful ceramic work.

And a couple more of my mom's pieces.

The cast iron rabbit cake mold I found in the attic.

Vintage wind up bunny.

Mostly vintage items on the dining room jelly cupboard.

Vintage papier mache Easter eggs, from the Garman Democratic Republic or West Germany, likely dating to the mid-20th century.  Geez, I guess that makes me vintage 😁

Lastly (though there are other Easter items not shown) my newest Easter acquisition.  I am so happy I decided to have him come home with me!

Please remember the true meaning of Easter.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs 😊

Swap Goodes ~

Blog friends are amazing.  How can someone you've never met know just what you'd love?  I decided to participate in a swap hosted by Rhonda over at Dirt Road Primitives.  I did not know who I would be receiving a package from and today it arrived from none other than Primitive Stars Francine.

Look at the wonderful "chocolate" bunny ~ perfectly prim . . .

. . . and a little spring pillow.  So perfect because my birthday falls on the first day of spring.

Love, love, love my vintage paper mache egg.  This may be the start of a new collection :)

For now, sitting in a piece of featheredge until I find the perfect spot.

Not the greatest picture, but a sweet little tea light holder.  I think its original purpose was an egg cup.

Thank you Francine for such wonderful goodies.  I will treasure them always.

I'm off to pull a few loops on a new little mat I am starting.  I'll share in my next post.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs :)
