Last Minute Easter Give~Away ~ ~ ~

~ ~ ~ GIVE~AWAY TIME ~ ~ ~

I finally finished this little punch needle bunny this morning. You know how I am with the finishing process. I got the punching done a couple of weeks ago, but.... The punched area of this little piece is about 6" x 5".
The rules are simple. Leave a comment on this post only or drop me an email at lauren@centurytel.net and put give~away in the subject line and I will enter you in the drawing. I will draw the winner Saturday evening at 6pm.
March is birthday month in my family. Here's my grandson Jake. He turned 5 yesterday.
With my mom even though she doesn't have a March birthday.
Additionally, my younger son Jason (Jake's dad), MUCH older brother Bill who turned 60 (not really that much older...lol!), my beloved Auntie Anne (who passed away 20 years ago) and my granddog Selene all have March birthdays. Here's Selene about a hundred pounds ago.
Oh, and me, too.
Thank you so much for stopping by. I really do appreciate everyone who reads my blog. A big thank you to all my followers and to those who leave me comments.
Pug hugs :)

Granddog & my favorite Power Ranger

~ ~ ~ Welcome Friends ~ ~ ~
Thanks for dropping by!
My granddog (a Newfoundland) is now 7 months and already weighs in at 71#. She was spayed last week and was the lucky recipient of her personal "lampshade". Honest, Selene, we weren't laughing at you, we were laughing with you.

Selene and grandson Jake getting ready for Trick-or-Treat.

Isn't he just the cutest Power Ranger you ever did see?
What a beautiful day in Ohio. It's 64 degrees and sunny and tomorrow looks to be even better. I finally got a few bulbs planted that I had accidentally dug up and I think I'll get the grass mowed one last time tomorrow. Ya' gotta love Indian summer.
I hope everyone is having a great weekend ;-)
Pug hugs :)

My new granddog and more flowers

I hope everyone had a great Tuesday. Tomorrow is already hump day...where does the time go? It was a beautiful day on the shores of Lake Erie. Hopefully we will get some needed rain in the next day or two.
Here is my new granddog Selene. In these pictures she was eight weeks old. She is now eleven weeks old and I swear she is almost twice this size! She is absolutely gorgeous and just as soft as can be.

I've been busy working in the flower gardens. As usual, I am behind...lol! I did buy a few more perennials, including two hydrangeas that I planted on either side of my front steps. It is hard to find something to plant there because even though it faces west, it is almost full shade. I originally planted viburnum. They never did too well and one died over the winter. I almost forgot to get my cannas from the basement and plant them. They are the only plants I've ever dug up and saved over the winter.
Here's a few pictures I took today in the yard.

Stop on by Shabby Sheep (shabbysheep.blogspot.com ~ sorry I haven't yet figured out how to link it from here). She, too, is having a patriotic give-away. Don't forget to sign up for mine. There are two great vintage 48 star flags and a Statue of Liberty.
Thanks for stopping by.
