The Zs ~

Zeke and Zala, my granddogs.  They have been staying with me for a few days while son and girlfriend are in Kentucky.

Zala

The pictures make them look much bigger than they are.  They weigh 20ish pounds.  They are Pomskies, a Pomerian/Husky mix.  Zala got the Husky talking gene.  I am thankful neither got the Husky run-away gene!

Best friends 😄

Zala with Ernestine.  Thankfully they now get along.  When Zala was a puppy, she and Ern did not get along at all.  I guess Ernestine has mellowed in her old age.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

2 Zs, 2 finishes and 3 daffs ~

Two Zs will be my houseguests for the next week while son and his girlfriend are in Florida.  Here is Zala.

And Zeke.

One of them, and I am guessing the female Zala, (according to son's girlfriend Zeke is just too perfect to do anything wrong . . . lol!) stole this little bunny that was sitting too low to the ground.  I assume she thought there was a squeaker inside that she had to rescue!

They are Pomskies . . . designer dogs.  Pomeranian/husky mixes.  Growing up we just called them mutts 😁

Getting ready for night night.

I actually have two finishes to share . . . at long last.  I am just S.L.O.W.

This little wonky cutting board must have been someone's shop project!  It is only 9 3/4" tall and 4" wide.

This big ole heart is 24" tall and 9" wide.  I think it looks pretty good on the old piece of barn siding.

Remember the daffodils I showed you that I picked last Friday?  (For perspective, the little bottle is 3 3/4 tall.)

Here they are today.

I know not everyone likes the time change (uh Robin!), but I love it.  That extra hour of daylight is heaven.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

The Zs ~

I am watching my granddogs, Zeke and Zala for a few days while my local son and his girlfriend visit some of her family in Kentucky.  My son was excited because there is a Buc-ee's on the way and he could get a brisket sandwich (and I must say they are pretty darn good!).

The Zs are Pomskies, a Pomeranian-Husky mix.  Zeke has the Husky coloring, but Zala got the talkiness of a Husky.  They are very similar in size and only weigh maybe 20-22 pounds.

Getting them upstairs to bed the first night was like trying to nail jello to a wall, but we made it, and once in bed all was well.

A few more pics just to show their cuteness.

Husky butts.

On the way to the airport this morning.  I always hate having to say goodbye to my #1 bad boy.  His visit was short but sweet 💙

And speaking of bad boys, here are mine, Bill (L) and J (R).  Last year at this time J had just had his first chemo treatment.  It is so good to see him healthy.

And finally, I can't have a dog post without a picture of Ernestine.  Poor baby is really starting to show her age 😭

That's it.  Back to decorating.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
