Santa Claus is coming to town!

A few of my Santas!  Believe me, there are many more.

(Most of the pictures are washed out because the sun is actually shining in northern Ohio!)

In the kitchen.

The little tree only has ornaments made from the old figural light bulbs.

An old slaw cutter with hard plastic Santas.  Little sampler I stitched.

In the dining room.

Great cubby made from an old crate, filled with part of my treenware collection.

Vintage Santas.

Vintage chenille Santas.

Atop the jelly cupboard, one of my first antique cupboard purchases decades ago.

Top of pie safe.

My favorite Santa purchase this year.  He is hand carved.  Friend Laura suggested the feather tree sprig and putz sheep in his hands.  Perfect!  (Laura also made the gold pipe cleaner tree.)  And two recently purchased vintage putz sheep.

Sweet little hanging cupboard (not old) purchased 30+ years ago, filled with vintage cotton batting batting Santas and bottle brush trees.  All Santas are vintage except for one.

My new to me antique cupboard purchased this summer.

The bottom two shelves are filled with mostly vintage pieces.

And lastly another wall box with a chocolate mold that I'm sure is not old, but don't remember where or when I bought it . . . sigh.  My mind is gone.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Well Darn ~

This is what happens when you drop Santa on his head 😭.  I was so bummed, but at least when he is sitting a little higher on a shelf you can't see the damage.

Several people commented that they wanted to see my purchases when I was being bad last Saturday.  I had completely forgotten to take pictures.  Here are a few of the things that came home with me.

Additions to my growing snowman collection.  A sweet little snow angel for the top of my snowman tree.

LOVE the grins.

Santas . . . like I need another Santa 😁

Cotton batting ~

Celluloid ~ with a hole in his head.

Reproduction feather tree and a couple Santas (not old).  I love the big Santa but he is a gift.

Also bought a number of new and vintage bottle brush trees that are scattered about.  And to think I wasn't planning on buying anything . . . lol!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Merry Christmas Eve Eve ~

This has been my most stress free Christmas season that I can ever remember.  It has been nice to kick back and relax, have a few friends over and even find a little time to hook 😉

I will bore you with more pictures of the house 😁

Figural light bulb tree.

Dining room cupboard.

Some of my vintage items.

Vintage celluloid Santas.

A little more vintage.

And still more vintage Santas.  The only repro is the skiing Santa on the middle shelf.

My old feather tree.  Mostly new but some vintage ornaments.

This cupboard used to reside in the kitchen but now on a wall in the living room.  I am so happy I purchased the charcoal drawing of the pug this summer.

Sweet little vintage ornaments.

My "Chris" tree.  Everything but the tree is from my friend . . . you guessed it . . . Chris.  The Santas below, too.  Some friends really understand me.

Part of my patriotic display.

Blow mold Santa from hooker friend Sue.  She "gets" me . . .

. . . and so does friend Belinda.  This guy looks like he has his hands raised for the O in Ohio.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

And Still More ~

The never ending Christmas pictures 😁

Sweet candle tin, a Christmas gift from my brother's DSO.

Dining room stepback cupboard.

A favorite wood box bought many years ago with a Christmas graphic.

Celluloid Santas and vintage bottle brush trees.

All vintage with the exception of the Santa on skis.

A favorite Santa by Vaillancourt Folk Art.

The devil's head ornament, a gift from DSO many years ago, is based on an antique.

LOVE the snowman, a gift from hooker friend Melissa.  Isn't he the cutest?  Perhaps inspiration for a hooked rug???

Thanks so much for stopping by.
