October Project List ~ The End

My only accomplishment this week was to finish Old Tom.  Hook, bound, labeled, and a final light steaming 😉

Here is what is left of October's list.  I do have 2 days left, but I don't think I will be crossing anything else off.

HOOKING

Santa & Rudy - pattern to linen - hook - bind - label

APPLIQUE

Rebekah Smith turkey - pattern to freezer paper - pieces to wool - stitch

Stack 'O Jacks - pattern to freezer paper - pieces to wool - stitch
Absolutely NO progress . . . again 😞

CROSS STITCH

Bethia Fenshaw 1861 - stitch - attach to spool  (I just purchased a light with a magnifier so fingers crossed that I can see to stitch on 40 ct linen)

WIPs to finish

Hooked Santa - finish hooking - bind - label

I did lose 4 days this week visiting my son.  However, it wasn't a total waste.  Though I did not find the kit, I was able to locate a Rebekah L. Smith pumpkin applique pattern.  I prepped five of them to work on in my travels.  I had to take something along that was pretty mindless and took almost no room in my carry on bag.  Notice the pumpkin in front.  Not paying attention, I put the leaf at the bottom instead of the top.  I couldn't figure out how to make it work there, so it has been moved to the top.

I know I sound like a broken record . . . but where did October go?

Thanks so much for stopping by.

October Project List ~ Week 4

Well, this is not a good sign.  My post was complete . . . just needed to preview it.  The preview would not load so since it said it was saved, I closed and reopened.  Darn . . . the whole post is G.O.N.E. 😡

This week was not as productive as past weeks but I did get a little done.

I think Mr. H is a very dapper looking snowguy.

I love the old shoe buttons!  (This pic shows the true colors.)

Great progress has been made.  I just need to finish hooking the outer two border rows.

Tomorrow I am heading to Las Vegas to see my #1 bad boy.  It has been far too long.  Just a quick trip . . . I will be home Monday afternoon.

Two Toms ~

Tom #1 was hooked back in 2015.

I am currently hooking Tom #2.  He is hooking up quickly since he will only be about 12" x 16" ish.  I feel I should make him a little Covid mask to wear 😁

This Star Rug Company Santa was started quite a few years ago.  I assume I stopped because I was avoiding hooking the face.  I am determined to finish him but when I found him tucked in the closet I did not notice if I had any of the red wool needed to finish his coat with the pattern.  I am guessing I will have to find something similar and work a few worms throughout the coat.  I also plan to reverse hook the snow and change it to my favorite Flax & Linen.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
