Normally I have one, maybe two (as Saundra would say, a "plus one") hooking projects going on at the same time. Somehow I managed to have five 😛
1. Raffle rug. As posted previously, my hooking part of the rug is done and passed on to the next hooker.
2. Askew. I started this in early March, planned to have it done before vacation, then before rug camp. Ha ha! Haven't pulled a loop in weeks.
3. Mr. Jingles. So close. He hasn't seen the light of day in a long time. I think I am going to need to outline the holly leaves and change the color of the berries. In person, the leaves blend in to the background 😡
4. Scaredy Cat. Hooking is done and I am working on the binding using wool strips. The cat is much more subtle in person.
5. Hand torn pumpkin. Hooked and binding half done.
Numbers 3, 4 & 5 are all small projects that will be given away to guilds. I will be happy to have all the "give aways" finally done.
Today is crunch day getting ready to head to rug camp tomorrow in Ripley, West Virginia. The pattern and wools are all ready to go. Gotta deal with the important stuff first.
I really must mow today but it is RAINING. We need the rain, but not today. Plus I want to head to an outdoor craft show after the rains. Oh, I am my own worst enemy!

So close on all your projects. Askew is really going to be a show stopper. Mr. Jingles looks so sad without a face...but I see where the leaves and berries may be blending in too much. I'm sure you will figure it out. So many things on my to-do list and none getting done and no rain to blame. ~Robin~
Wow you have been busy hooking away !!! Will all be Wonderful when completed !!!
I would be packing way too many clothes too with the crazy temperature swings !
Have a Wonderful time !!!!
Have fun! Seems you have as many projects going as I do in cross stitch. LOL I missed the Northern lights last night and my neighbor got a great pic. Hopefully the weather will cooperate tonight if the clouds move out in time. Be safe in your travels and I know you have lots to talk about when you get back. Happy Mother's Day again. Janice
Askew is looking mighty fine. I agree you need brighter red for the berries as I could hardly see them. Scardy Cat is adorable and I also have that freebie and have yet to hook the thing. That should go on my plus one list for sure.
Am excited to see your progress upon your return from camp. And good luck on deciding what the heck to take for clothing. Today I'm back in a turtle neck and sweats but it wasn't that long ago there were 80 degree temps here. Weird weather.
Enjoy Ripley, it is such a beautiful setting! Safe travels!
We certainly don't need more rain here! Have a safe trip, all yours WIPS are great. I once again removed winter tops from the closet, of which I wear maybe four out of the forty I have kept for years. Probably why it went from 75 to 49 today and chilly all next week. Decided to wear summer tops with cardigans or zip hoodies. Half and half.
I'm getting excited for you and your next hooking camp adventure. You've been so productive, unlike me. Your rugs are all beauties. I still haven't found my hooking Mojo and I'm not super excited for gardening, this year either. The deers and gophers and raccoons are taking all the fun out of it but I'm still dividing and weeding. lol...
Have fun and please share your highlights. Happy Mother's Day.
Hugs, Julia
Buzz Buzz Buzz you are one busy bee!!
have fun at your rug camp. I like what you are starting. I am going way outside of my comfort zone with hooking we shall see if I have the chops for it.
Happy Mother's Day
Cathy
You have a lot of beautiful rugs and not much more to finish them. Love the rug you are taking to camp, and wonderful wools. When I am unsure what to wear, mid season, I take t-shirts and bring a sweat jacket, so I can just throw that on if it gets cooler.
