eBay + Etsy = 2 Easy

I told myself I would not peruse eBay or Etsy in search of tin doll heads.  I didn't listen but after taking a little look-see, told myself I would not buy.  It is just too easy to succumb.  Well, I did not heed the voice within (what??? you say) and now it's an official collection.

It was just such a good deal I could not say no.  Heck, the shipping was almost as much as the doll head.  This one is marked Minerva on the front and Germany 6 on the back.

Good looking family, no?

Do you listen to the voices from within?

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs :)

Not when I am searching for something like you were. I can find so many things that I need when I am on a hunt. Congrats on your newest collection. It looks grand.

well you have a collection and what a nice family it is. I try very hard I said I would not purchase any rug hooking supplies for 6 months and I did it! after my 6 (really 7 month) of not buying I ordered a couple of yards of white wool to dye. I am pretty proud of myself. But all bets are off.

Listen to a voice in my head when it tells me not to shop?. Basically, NEVER. I must get better at that! But sometimes you just need something...like you really needed a third doll head to make a collection, and a nice little family. I understand! She looks great!

You get whatever makes you happy girl!! Your collections are so wonderful, you have an eye for them and the knack for displaying them. Why waste that talent?

I always tell our customers to buy something if you like it, because if you come back later it will probably be sold. Glad you listened to you inner voice because you collection is wonderful! Janice

Congratulations, you now have a collection. You have a mind of your own and don't listen to that little voice in your head. Now that you got your collection, it will grow, I'm sure. So you'll have to get more boxes to accommodate more heads.
I wonder what kind of stories they tell when you're sleeping.
Have a wonderful day. We are in a heatwave.

I sometimes think those voices that tell you not to are really just saying go for it. lol! At least that's often what happens! lol! Love your collection. I think it was well worth not listening to those voices. Wonderful!!

Saw that one coming...lol!! My voices say “buy more, you need it, it’s just money”. At any rate I think that it’s a great start to your newest collection.

I do not hear voices per say ... just music with my hearing problem. Hate wearing hearing aids and prefer to do without which drives hubs crazy with my always asking what? You are one fine collector!

Hi Lauren,
Glad you rescued her and made her part of your new "family/collection"! She is bigger than the other two and they now have someone to look up to!! Looks so sweet on that amazing red box!!! You are definitely a woman after my own heart!! Life is so short so why not enjoy those things that make you happy, yes??
Enjoy your week, my friend, and hope you are staying cool!
