Sauder ~ Celebration of Hand Hooked Rugs

Celebration rugs are the premier juried collection of the year's best hand  hooked rugs.  If you have received the Celebration book, you will see many, many more rugs!

Tomorrow my desktop computer (where I blog and leave comments on others' blogs) is finally going to the computer doctor.  Hopefully they can speed it up . . . or I will be forced to buy a new one.  Fingers crossed I won't have to.

Friday hooker friend Val and I are heading to the Woolkeepers hook in in Indiana, about 5 1/2 hours from here.  Bev Stewart who put on the hook in for many years sadly lost her battle with cancer and her husband has dubbed this her Memorial Hook In.  I opted not to vend this year and it will be fun to attend with no commitments ๐Ÿ˜

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs ๐Ÿ˜Š

Many talented ladies who produced wonderful rugs. I didn't know Bev Stewart and guess she will join Barb Carroll and many other wonderful ladies with a heavenly hook-in.
Good luck with your computer and guess the success of your repair will depend on which Windows product you have. Mine is Windows 10 and understand there is now Windows 11.

Ya know? It's probably a good thing I can't go to shows like this....I would never be able to take it all in in only so many days. Wow. (I know I say that way too often, but WOW!) For some reason, though, the one in this post that jumped out at me was that one above the cheetah. My primitive (but sometimes symmetrical) heart loves that one. ๐Ÿคž on the 'puter. Trust me, I know your pain. I have resurrected my pc more times than a cat with 9 lives...and I know it's only a matter of time. Have fun at your hooking retreat... ~Robin~

How sad she lost her battle to cancer. But glad you are going to relax and hook. Have a wonderful time

Oh those computer woes. I hope that you can resurrect your computer but it's only a matter of time before you'll have to get a new one. After a while, they get outdated and they are not compatible with this and that. Hang in there!

What a feast for the eyes... All those awesome rugs. Most of them look like they are fine cuts. I'll have to come back several times to take a closer look. Thanks again for sharing all those beauties with us, stay-at-home hookers and part-time hookers.

So sorry about Bev Stweart. I hope that you and your friend will have a great time at her memorial hook-in.

Hugs,
Julia

What an amazing show, so many styles and variety of techniques. It reminds me what I loved about rug hooking.
I hope they can fix your computer, usually I use mine until they get buggy, then get a new one, not too many good repair places around here, that aren't more expensive to fix.

I would NEVER be ale to hook people. Kudos to those who can. Loved the colors of the bridge and water one. That took time to do for sure I bet. Janice
