Happy (???) Fall ~ Y'All

Mother Nature must have gotten the memo that today is the first day of fall.  We went from HOT a day ago to downright chilly, gloomy and windy today.  I say it every year and will say it again . . . I would love fall if winter did not follow.

I finally picked up my hook after barely pulling a loop in months 😢  I will show what I am working on next time.  Since I have nothing hooking related to share, I will leave you with a few more rugs from the rug show at Sauder Village.  Better late than never . . . sigh.

Hopefully now that my computer is working so much better, I will back in the groove of posting more often.  I have been a real slacker.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs 😊
Lauren

Those were some huge pumpkins Jo had at Sauder. Always enjoy a rug show no matter how late. Welcome back to hooking. How's your foot?

I too dislike winter. Oh, a new snow is pretty, but I don't like being cold. This is when I really miss my Georgia house. I'm a bit confused on the hooking. Didn't you just go to a couple or three hook-ins?

It's fun to see more rugs from Sauder .....poured here today with thunder & lightening, was a nice day for me to hook & do some needle punch . Tomorrow will be windy & chilly ....time to get out sweaters & polar fleece tops !!!

Yes it was windy and a bit chilly here too, but I loved it! Wonderful rugs. Look forward to seeing what you are hooking now. Janice

If you're a slacker, Lauren, I don't know what that makes me. A slackiest?
lol.
I've lost my blogger mojo. I haven't pulled a loop since a long time ago and I've been super busy and although I have plenty to share, it all seems so trivial to me.

Thanks for the Sauder rug show. I'm so glad that your computer is running better again. I hope your leg is getting stronger every day.

It's pouring rain today and I bottled 21 and a half pints of Lady Ashburnham pickles to fill a small order and for the upcoming Christmas Baazar sometime in October.

Take care,
Hugs,
Julia

More great rugs! The pumpkins are fun...but those cat eyes just grab you. Like Julia said, if you're slacking in the posting department, I don't even know if there's a word for what I am. I guess there's not much that I think people would find interesting at this point. No hooking here. A little stitching...emphasis on "little" and only frustrations and indecision in the finishing department. Your weather is a day or two behind us. I remarked yesterday that Autumn came in on que...and on the heels of gusty winds and cold rain.... And this morning was cold...but not as cold as it is going to get tonight. I despise what comes after fall as well...but I still love fall. I think of fall like a Sunday...still the weekend, but ya know what's coming. ~Robin~ (How's gimpy??)

The Door Pumpkin from The Wooly Horse certainly was a fun rug to hook! I hooked the green one, it is the small pattern. Jenny’s sister,
Laurie, Hooked the large blue one. Such fun designs!
Beautiful fall morning here in SW Ohio, so many fall activities to choose from this weekend......me....I’m going to my 50th Class reunion festivities!!
Enjoy your day & weekend!

My goodness there is a load of displays at that show.
Freezing my fanny off this morning. I don't give a mouse whisker how nice it looks, just how bad it feels!
Be careful with that boot!
