I am referring to the binding pile. On one hand, it is a good thing because it means I am getting things done. On the other . . . UGH!

And FINALLY ~ The Poser is hooked. I am happy at the way it turned out but Cathy Stephan of Red Barn Rugs gets all the credit. I started this in a class with her last June. It was her excellent guidance and color plan. I had hesitated starting the flowers. She told me I was not allowed to leave class until one was started 😁. Great advice.
Ernestine had a birthday ~ #10. She is looking good but her face/chin sure are getting grey. Thankfully she is in excellent health.

Ha ha...love the Easter bunny pic.... Back in the good ol' days the costumes were so realistic and scary....right up my alley LOL. I can't believe you haven't bound Ol' Jack yet and have him up and displayed. Shame. (Says me who has hid the Beast so I can conveniently forget about finishing him....) I hooked a little on my Madonna Rug but I just can't sit there very long. I'm inching my way through it. I don't like how it looks so far and will have to reverse hook some more.

Lots of beautiful rugs and I am sure you will be happy when you bind them. I use yarn binding, so find it relaxing, but I know I need to learn how to do it with a binding tape on the back.

That Easter photo is a classic! Far more interesting than the expected (forced?) smiling faces usually seen.
Your rugs are very pretty, bummer they aren't finished as they'd be even better then. Not dinging your dislike of finishing them! I should apply the words "finished is better than perfect" to the quilt I've been avoiding quilting for months now. It's intimidating me for some reason.

Great work Lauren. I'm not sure since my memory is so bad, but how many methods are there to finish edges other than a visible binding? Or aren't there?
