The Daffodils are NOT Happy ~

As I have said many times, if you don't like the weather in Ohio, stick around for a day and it will change.  Several weeks ago we had beautiful, spring weather.  I even did some yard cleanup.  The nice weather was short lived and it has not been very spring-like since.  This is what it looked like around the yard today.

Molly is not a fan of this weather either.

By Thursday it will be in the low 60's and Sunday 75°.

I leave you with a little humor.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs 😊
Lauren

My daffodils have come and gone already but not because of snow but a strange flash overnight freeze. Same strange up and down weather changes here in Delaware.

The daffodils are not the only ones not happy! Holly smokes Mother Nature it is almost May, I turned on the electric blanket last night and haven't even thought about putting winter clothes away. Eighty's are forecast for the weekend. Bedding plants in the garage for protection from cold.

Oh, no!!!! It is a bit chilly in the mornings here, but shirtsleeve weather by afternoon. The Iris are blooming…and the azaleas, though a recent cold snap did hurt them. Trying to get the yard in order, but there’s lots to do. We really need help, but haven’t found anyone reliable yet who will do what we want. At least when it’s snowing you don’t need an excuse to be inside hooking🤣. That joke…way too much truth there. Have a great week.

Haha that is funny. Oh your poor flowers. All of that snow.
Well, it looks like it will be nice by the weekend.

Such a shame to see snow on the flowers, I always love this time of year when everything starts blooming.
I don't have to wait a day, we have wind, sun then rain, now a few minutes later, it is sunny again, lol.

I did not send that! We had snow all through the weekend and woke up yesterday to yet another coating and it snowed most of the day again. But, my daffies are smarter than yours - they haven't even come up yet. Rain is supposedly coming in tomorrow but after reading how warm you are to get by Sunday, I checked our long-term forecast and it says 73º on Saturday. I'm not jumping up and down yet because that is a long, long, way off. Heck, they can't seem to get things right for just a few hours out; unless, of course, it's horrid weather. That they seem to always nail. And crap....I just also saw that there's an 80% chance of rain along with that balmy temp. 😩 ~Robin~

I hope the weather settles down shortly. It's been raining here and that means that the water level is going further up. We also get the rain runoff from Maine that empties into the St John River.

I hope that your daffodils and pretty flowers will survive the snow. I have a batch of daffodils that are in bloom in the corner but the rest are just poking out of the ground.

I've been planting seeds in pots today because I couldn't work outside and I needed to get my fingers dirty. lol... It's a good day to hook.

Hugs,
Julia
