Molly Seal of Approval ~

Madi's Favorite is fini.  The finished size is about 24" x 24 1/2".  I don't know how I ended up with an extra 1/2".  Oh, well.  Oh, hell.  I did away with the teal line in the border.  Started adding three rows of antique blacks and changed that to just two rows.  Not one of my favorite rugs . . . but they all can't be a favorite, right?

Upon completion, threw on the floor and of course Molly immediately went to check it out.

Back to the give-away from the previous post.  There is still time to enter.  I will also send the winner an initial scissor fob and who knows?  Maybe something else will be added.  THANK YOU!  I really appreciate my readers and some of you have been reading for many years.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs 😊
Lauren

I have been reading your blog for years and so enjoy your hooking, jewelry and cross stitch adventures. ( your dogs included) I miss the blogs because although I am on Facebook, there is something about sharing in this form. It is like getting a letter from a pen pal. Nonetheless, keep sharing your craft and bits and pieces of your life.

You are so kind. I really like that scissor fob. I haven't been hooking except that day at connie's shop. I need to figure out how to fit it all in.
Grandkids, garden, yard and housework. Oh my. Lions, tigers, and bears.

the rug is wonderful! The fob is so pretty. Any more Midge problems?

I have noticed that after hooking one side will be 1/2" longer also. Think it is because one side you are hooking warp and the other way you are hooking the weft and one will stretch more. Haven't you noticed a rhythm of hooking every 3 holes or 3, 2, 3? but when hooking in the other direction it is a constant 3, 3, 3 or maybe a 2, 2, 3? That's because of the weave of warp and weft.

Well I think it looks absolutely GREAT! Molly agrees and dogs are excellent judges of both character and hooked rugs.

I can see that Molly appreciates your rug so much. She's a good judge and gives it an A+. I do too. She thinks you made it especially for her.

Enjoy the weekend.

Love your pretty rug too and pretty scissor fob !!! Saundra's comment about the warp stretching was interesting too ....I thought that was just me hooking too tight or loose ....always great tips to discover !

I was wondering if you sell your fobs and necklaces?????

I like your new rug. But I understand about how everything you make doesn't always become something you really like. I applaud your perseverance to finish it! I really like your scissor fob! Have a great weekend.

So, Madi's Favorite isn't your favorite...but apparently it's Molly's favorite.... As always, it is a beautiful (almost) finish. I love the fob...but I haven't seen any of your silverware creations I haven't loved. You're intent on making this one amazing giveaway. Still vacillating on what to do next here. It's 95º (yes really and yes in Nod)...so it almost forces one to be inside so I better figure something out quick. If I had a pool, I'd be in it. Oh wait...I DO have a pool...but never mind....it's not "usable" at the present. (Yeah, I'm crabby than even usual.) ~et~

I like your rug, there is something about putting a rug on the floor to look at any animal with lay one it. Now on to the next one.

Might not be your favorite rug, but Molly seems to approve and sometimes having the approval of our fur children is more than enough

Happy Anniversary! I love your posts, especially when there is a grey faced black pug in them (I'm looking at my own grey faced black pug at the moment). I think the rug looks great and we all know pugs have fabulous taste! I'd love to be entered in your give away to celebrate your sharing with the rest of us.
