Ten minutes in to our trip to Niagara Falls . . . rear ended while stopped at a red light . . . we never even made it to the highway. Red bike that DSO and I was on was totaled. My son’s very yellow Harley had many thousands of dollars in repairs.
BUT THE GOOD NEWS . . . we only had minor injuries. I truly believe Someone was looking out for us. It could have been so much worse. DSO and I hung up our helmets. My son still rides every chance he gets. Every day I am thankful.
I am trying to blog from the iPad . . . using old blogger. Wish me luck.

The angels were watching out for you that day. Was the person on the phone or texting that hit you? What ever, glad you weren't hurt badly.

Wowsers.... That must have been absolutely terrifying...and, yes, you are blessed and lucky to have walked away. I interned at a personal injury law firm and saw way too many motorcycle accidents. Everything I learned at that firm can be summed up in 3 caveats: (1) Always wear your seatbelt (2) Increase the amount of your uninsured motorist insurance (this was before it was mandatory, mind you) and (3) Never, ever, ride a motorcycle. And, yeah....we have a Harley sitting in the garage. ~ET~

I am so glad you were all okay. I was just thinking about this. I am so glad you can look back and see that you had someone looking after you. It still makes me sick to see how bad it was, yet you all walked away. I am so glad.

Yep...someone was watching out for all of you. It doesn't happen very often that. you can walk away from getting hit from a speeding car. It is a blessing!
