1847 Turkey ~

A bit of progress has been made on 1847 Turkey since I left class, but of course not as much as I would have liked.
I was asked where to find the pattern.  Surprisingly I stumbled upon the booklet in at out of the way place . . . not where I would normally keep a pattern book.  If my memory serves me correctly, I purchased it on eBay.

I finished the binding on the little pumpkin which will be given to the recipient of the footstool.  Here it is atop on of my footstools.  I call this one my toe breaker footstool.  It is heavy and one night my toe slammed in to it and I'm sure it was broken.  Hurt like heck for a very long time.

OK.  A couple questions about the new interface?  Do your pictures load huge and you have to reduce the size so the entire pic shows on the blog post?  What about your font size?  One size is too big . . . but the size smaller is too small.  I sure wish I lived near a blog friend so we could figure this out together.  It is just too frustrating to me 😖  I just got so annoyed I reverted back to old blogger.  Why are letters cut off on the right margin on just one of the  above paragraphs?  Am I making any sense or just rambling?

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs 😊
Lauren

I'm having issues with the new interface too but not with the text because the last one on the list is the one I used to use and in normal so it looks the same to me. I haven't encountered the photos being too big either as I do like big photos. However I don't know how to get them in the middle of the page..yet.

Something else which ticked me off is having to scroll thru the long list of labels on the right side ~ that is until I accidentally saw (I think) a link to 'add a new label' as I had just updated the blog.

I think the reason one of your letters is being cut off is due to the size of the layout. Go to layout and there should be a way for you to either widen or reduce the column. Or that is the way it was in old interface.

Love how your turkey is turning out. I've hooked that pattern and like your colors better. If I didn't have so many other projects on my to hook list I'd hook it over again.

Oh....you always come up with such dreamy color choices! Absolutely LOVE your turkey....and dang your footstool recipient is one lucky chica. Well, as you know, I can't help you out with new blogger....but, I have heard many complain that the font sizes stink for exactly the reason you said. I also noticed the cut off in just one paragraph...what Saundra said about layout sorta makes sense....but why one ONE paragraph?? Weird. I am holding out as long as I can ha ha.... If you don't see a post from me after September 1, you'll know it and me didn't hit it off. ~Robin~

I have to downsize my pics now and upsize my words. I HATE it! Wish I was the recipient of your pumpkin mat. Am drooling and oh how Tom is looking! Janice

All your blogger issues makes me glad I am just a reader and not a contributor.
Love both the turkey and the pumpkin. Still have not gotten my hooking mojo back. But sure enjoy seeing yours.

I had a horrid time tonight it would only underline no matter how many times I clicked it off and I had to keep changing the color of ink each paragraph. I am referring g back too.

I love your turkey. I wish I could pick colors like you do. I am slowly learning this new blogger. Its just not easy. It seems as if it takes me hours to write a post.
I haven't found any easy ways to fix anything though.
I love the top picture. Yes, isn't it just like that? We were watching a movie the other night. I hope you have a lovely week.

I have tried the new interface and didn't seem to have problem with it but I went back to legacy. I guess I won't have a choice come September. Your turkey rug so pretty! You always choose the best colors! The footstool is reall cool and I love the pumpkin mat. I'm cracking up at the "Coronacoaster"....it's the truth!!! Have a great week and I hope you get to some other hook ins. Everything has been cancelled here in Michigan...UGH!

That pumpkin is just too darn cute!! I ran into a cement walkway with my toe (yeah, I know) Then ran into a door rail the same afternoon. It has taken a month to not hurt. And it must have been swollen as I lost an entire layer of skin. I am such a clutz.

I noticed that Blogger had changed, but honestly I'm so bad at it that it just seemed as difficult as usual. LOL

Great looking loops on both the turkey and pumpkin! I really need to get back to hooking..... it's been a couple of years?
Yes and yes concerning blogger... add to that issues with comment notification keeps quitting, and when I reply to a comment that did make it to my email box, the reply won't get past my server... grrr... methinks too much adverts in the google codes... double grrr...

No new interface for me. I am still blogging off my phone using that little app. So far all is well. Loving that turkey. He will be a grand addition for Thanksgiving. I think I have all of those little booklets. They are grand.
