Here’s Ernestine and Molly a few months ago when they still “sort” of liked each other . . . sigh. I now call them “pit pugs” but I know I am insulting pits. I don’t know what has gotten in to them but they can’t be within 5’ of each other without wanting to kill one another. I have an email in to a dog trainer that works on behavior modification. Something needs to be done, SOON!

Molly looks so innocent while Ernestine has a look of contempt on her face. lol. She's just insecure and is afraid that Molly will get more attention than she deserves. Plain jealousy... I hope that the online dog trainer will be able to have a remedy for this disturbing situation.

This situation is serious and does call for professional help. I have been through this twice in in 40 plus yrs of dogs. Dogs probably exhibited signs long before you knew anything was wrong. Watch them closely as girls will fight to the death. Good luck and hope things workout

Yup, Ernestine has that look on her face....."go ahead, I dare you to look at me." I have a strange situation here too. You know I have many rescues from S. Korea and they joined my small dog family of 3 Pugs. My Pugs are very close to each other, seem to need each other, sleep on each other etc. But slowly but surely, the S. Korean dogs (not all, but most) have banded together and targeted my poor old Pugs. They have no manners, shove them out of the way, bark in their faces, step on them while they're sleeping, never wait their turn when it's time for treats while the Pugs sit & patiently wait. One of the dogs, a Jack Russell, attacked my poor old Julie, trapping her under a china closet when I left the room for a few minutes & some of the other S. Korean dogs joined in. She was rushed to the vet and needed stitches. I never left them alone again. Our last rescue was a one eyed French Bulldog named Lily. She looks more like a Pug, definitely snores like one and seems to have taken it into her head that she's one of the Pugs. She's tough as nails and no one messes with her. Within her first 20 minutes in our house, she put the Jack Russell in her place and now sleeps with the Pugs, walks outside with them as if guarding them. As I look back on the whole situation, the Jack Russell, Maggie, was the self appointed leader of a mob and she had followers. Lily is Trump, the law and order dog, the Pugs were just ordinary Americans. hahahahahaha I hope Ernestine & Molly can work out their differences, it may be she's just jealous. Funny though, with all the rescues that have come & gone through your home, that she'd act like that. Maybe she just wants Molly to get out and find another forever home and she's wondering what's taking so long to be an only child again.
I wonder what on earth happened? They looks so cute sitting there on the carpet. Sasha is an only dog and gets very put out when others come to visit.

Such cutie pies....but naughty girls.... I think "Little Julie" might be on to something there....maybe interject a third dog into the equation. Then again, you could have 3 fighting dogs. Sorry, no help here....I still refereeing cat fights. And, dang....completely spaced National Dog Day..... Shhhh, don't tell Snowdog. ~Robin~
Well that's upsetting I'm sure. Pheromones work on cat aggression to each other but not dogs. Hope a trainer has a suggestion and can help.
