Gotcha ~

August 12, 2017, DSO and I picked up my new foster pug, Cheerilee.  (The month she came in to Ohio Pug Rescue was My Little Pony month. Hence her name.)

Five days later, DSO adopted her and changed her name to Ernestine.  Think Lily Tomlin from Laugh In.  Snort.  Snort.

Today is the 3 year anniversary of her “gotcha day”.  They are still happy campers.

Food for thought.

This is my second post from the iPad.  Still struggling a bit because after many years I am still iPad challenged and still using old blogger.  At least it’s a start!

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs 😊
Lauren

Amen...Amen...Amen to the pictures regarding the flag!
I don't understand the mentality of the people who want to desecrate it...no matter what the ills of the country are...we are a continued work in progress!
Pug is adorable...reminds me of ours many years ago...his name was Henry. Lived to be 23 yrs old. Spoiled...absolutely!!!

She is so cute and looks like a happy pup, I think she will get adopted quickly with that personality.
That is a nice banner with respect for our Country and those who serve.

Happy Gotcha Day to all of you, as you ALL got each other that day!! I still remember you posting about her and then seeing her become an official part of the family!!! Happy day for all three of you!!!
Love your collage and totally agree and say AMEN!!! We need to play Lee Greenwood's song on the radio, in the grocery stores and everywhere we go!!
Hope you are doing well and wish me luck as I try to play "catch up" with all my blog favorites!!

Well Earnestine is a sweet heart. She is so cute and she looks so happy.
Since the lockdown, our shelters are empty of animals with people being home, so that is one good thing that has happened.
I was looking at my facebook and they have taken down so many of the things I have posted and labeled them fake news. It made me laugh. They don't even know they have lost. I love seeing America wake up. Have a nice day.

Awww....Happy "Gotcha Day"....we just celebrated that with our (not-so) little Rajah Roo. Ernestine is a lucky gal....and I think she found her soul mate. Glad you're willing to share your DSO. Yes, yes, yes to the flag collage. Amen. Seems like you're doing well with the IPAD posts..... Ain't it weird, though, that the thumbnail photo doesn't show in the reading list when you post from Ipad??? It's a bug that bugs me. ;-) ~Robin~

Hi, Lauren, I'm finally returning to normal and visiting blogs again. I have a lot of catching up to do.

Ernestine looks so adorable. I can't believe that it's already been three years since Ernestine was adopted. She seems to have gotten bigger.

I agree with all the quotes on those pictures about respect for the flag and the servicemen and what they stand for.

Take care and stay safe and well.
Hugs, Julia
