Sunset on Lake Erie ~

Last evening we took a walk on the "mile long pier" in Lorain.  The pier is not a mile long, but I could not find out how long it really is.  It was a beautiful evening for a stroll.

I hope everyone had a great weekend.  It's so hard to believe August will soon be over.  Marly and I are not happy campers :(

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs :)

I am right there with you. Not a Happy Camper. Summer has been hot and humid but that sure beats cold, snow, ice and gloomy winter days.

That is a beautiful photo of a sunset and would make an equally beautiful hooked piece.

Mmmmm lovely views (and photos) - much more relaxing than the downed trees I've been looking at for 2 weeks!

Always crabby I am. But this time, end of summer, nasty as hell.

What a gorgeous sunset... It belongs on a calendar page. What is that house in the middle of the water?

Summer has been hotter than usual and August has been dryer than usual but I'm welcoming the cooler temperature right now. It has been comfortable to work outside and indoors but we need rain so badly. I'm still harvesting and preserving so before I know it it will be time to put on the long johns, lol...

Stay well and happy.
Hugs, Julia

Beautiful sunset worth a walk no matter how long it is.
Yes summer flew by but it was a hot one and still is here.

Beautiful sunset photos from your walk. I know you and Marly and summer lovers, and you know I am just the opposite. I don't know whether there are others like me or not. I guess you must be on the new blogger. I of course can't figure anything out,so reverted to the old to make a post, and now Facebook won't let me share a link as it is against their "standards". Oh well.....computers, you know I hate them even more than summer.

I had noticed that it was dark the other night before seven. I thought of you. I know it gets so dark there, so early. This will be new for me too. In the other house, I had 72 windows. I finally got the nerve to count right before I moved. I didn't want to ever count because it would overwhelm me when I was washing them. It did take three 8 hour days. This house has only 10 windows. I think I will feel differently now as it gets dark. We have had days and days of smoke and no sun and I did think I was going to loose my mind then. So we will see. I think it would be so awesome to live that close to a big water like that.
