Three Rows it is ~

Thank you for your input.  The consensus was three rows of red and I agree.  All ready for binding.  Hopefully I will have time at the protest to get it bound.

A couple readers inquired as to how I attach the mat to the footstool.  I don't.  I just set it on top.  Crow's Foot Farm said she has used nails and hid the heads in between the loops.

Here are two footstools in my living room.  I hooked this one . . .

. . . but bought this horse mat on eBay many years ago.

A few random pictures from around the yard this morning.

I really need to think about packing my clothes.  Hooking stuff is ready (except for the color planning of a little mat . . . sigh).  That's the important stuff, right?

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs :)

I do the same thing...just place the mat on top of the footstool it was hooked for. Except for one which I did tack down under. Hmmm, sounds like something I should do a blog about.

What the hell are you talking about packing? You know you're always late packing so why should this time be any different?

Have a wonderful time, I think packing is just a big dud. I met some people from Indiana once, She told me that no she never packs, her and her husband just hop in the motor home and she just buys what she needs when she gets there. Blew my mind. I always over pack. I still think about it and so far, I can't do it. I just go ahead and over pack. :) Have a fun time and don't think about the world all weekend,

I read about a stitcher attaching pieces to various surfaces with Nano tape. It's some sort of silicone tape that will not damage or leave residue, is removable, so I may order a roll. It was Xfasten brand. Have fun!!

You must be a pro at packing by now since you have been to so many hook-ins retreats and shows. I'm sure you could pack in your sleep.
Just stay away from people missing an ear. Have a fun weekend.

You could use velcro to make your mat stay in place. Glue velcro to the stool, and stitch the velcro to the back of the mat. I never did this but it's a possibility.

I love that tiger lily and the double daylily. The deers have eaten most of the buds on my giant Asiatic lilies. I'm not amused and left me a handful of peas. They ate half of my son in law's beets, chomped on his beans and mine too and ate more of my Hostas. They are getting braver and braver.

Stay well and safe. Thanks for leaving a nice comment on my blog.
Hugs, Julia

Well, I always think and think about packing, and on the very rare and few occasions that I actually tried packing in advance (like most people do), I end up changing my mind so much and stuff goes in and out so often that my closet looks like a war zone. (Well, truth be told, it usually does anyways LOL...but it was actually noticeably worse if that's possible)....So now, I embrace my inner procrastinator and panic pack. Love your footstools and flowers!!! Enjoy!! And protest a bit for me!! ~Robin~

Your lilies are so pretty! Gives me motivation to work in mine (temps have been in the high 90's--my excuse for not weeding). Enjoy the protest!!! and share all the details with those who would love to be there with you
