July ~

Even though I don't feel like I am living, life is flying by.  Already July ~ WOW!  I am still busy all the time and feel there are not enough hours in the day . . . these times are just unsettling.  I'm sure many of you understand how I feel.

Blog friends are so sweet and generous.  Friend Carolyn in Texas surprised me big time.  She sent me a kit for a Tree of Life.  Beautiful wool included!  Somehow she ended up with two kits.  She hooked one and sent the other to me, telling me I could hook it or pass it along.  I've decided to hook it.  I have it started, just barely :)

Then a couple weeks later comes another surprise in the mail from Texas.  This time a sweet pattern by Northwest Folk Design (Marijo Taylor).  She liked the pattern so much she inadvertently bought it twice.  Lucky me.  THANK YOU so much, Carolyn :)

~ GOD BLESS AMERICA ~

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs :)

God, indeed, bless America. Your meme is truly fitting and I believe touches the hearts and souls of many of us. And yay you and the gifts from the big-hearted bloggers from that big state of Texas!! Just what you needed, perhaps, to get your mojo running a bit more freely, eh? I can't help it, though...I look at how perfectly you hook a circle and I wonder for the gazillioneth time why I bother LOL. I hear ya about the days flying, but not really living.... Sigh. ~Robin~

Wow amazing! Lucky you wonderful gifts. I do agree life is flying by even though I am not doing much either. The tourist are here so we are sticking close to home.

I know exactly how you feel. I've been in Tennessee with my daughter because she needed a babysitter and we had to make a trip back to Florida because my husband was having open heart surgery. In the mean time my son cut the tip of his finger off and then had surgery himself for a hydocel. Then the icing on the cake was my oldest grandson cut his head and had to have stitches. Is this year over yet? 2020 has been a crazy ride.

Wow, you are lucky...an entire kit plus a great other pattern. I've not yet hooked a Tree of Life but think it is supposed to be a traditional or expected project for all hookers.
Don't know where the time has gone either but it surely is flying by. Looking forward to your progress on the new pattern.

I love that meme. Do you mind if I put it on my blog too? I think it says it best. How nice to get those lovely patterns. We are shut down again in our state. I don't think anyone will comply. Nut job governor and his aunt psycho Pelosi both own vineyards in Napa and those states wineries aren't shut down. Pretty interesting don't you think?
Have a lovely 4th.

I totally agree with your beautiful meme. That is how things should be. The whole world has gone bunker. I hope the covid-19 starts to show a decline soon. I can understand your frustration. The devil is on the loose and is in the politic and every aspect of society and your president has a tough job to do. Pray for him.

I'm so glad that you are being send some nice gifts from your blogger friends because you are so generous yourself and you so deserve it.
Yes, times flies. I can't believe it's July either. Our Canada Day was a quiet celebration. Wishing you a Happy 4th of July.

Stay safe and hang in there.

I heard they want realtors to stop saying Master Bedroom when viewing homes now. When is this going to end???? I started hooking a rather large rug I drew out. Am enjoying pulling a few loops every day. Great gifts from fellow bloggers! Your hooking start looks mighty fine! Janice

God bless Texas!! That's a song isn't it? Lucky you. After seeing that .... implement which I assume is your hook, I remember throwing out several like it. I thought it was something for shoe repair!

Happy 4th girlfriend.
