One Down, Three to Go ~

Woolkeepers Hook In, held annually in Danville, IN, is so much fun.  About 30 vendors selling a variety of items.  Mostly hooking related items, but also baskets, soaps, altered art, punch needle, applique patterns and more.  My sales were so-so, but I did too good a job supporting the other vendors :)

Melissa's and my booth.

I even remembered to take a few pictures of other booths.

I will be vending three more times this fall.  Almost too busy, but I must support my hooking/antiquing habits :)  I have three hooking classes at the beginning of October (OMG ~ 3 new rugs) and had chosen 2 of the three that I will be hooking.  I saw this one in the booth of Heavens to Betsy and fell in love, so this is what I will be hooking in Caroline Twigg's class.

This evening, I will be heading to southern Ohio to meet up with college friend Wink and tomorrow morning we will be heading for Franklin, TN, to spend a few days.  I hear it is a wonderful, historic town.  Kris Miller is having a rug camp there in October (that I am not attending ~ boo hoo ~ maybe next year).  Hopefully I will have lots to share upon my return.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs :)
Lauren

As always, your booth looked amazing. So many nice vendors. Looks like you had a lot of competition. I am in love with several rugs in the booth in the 3rd photo down. Like your choice, too. Another opportunity to use up more worms...lol. Have a fun trip with your friend. And take pics.

Hey GT.... Ya know, if I ever made it to a show you were vending at, you know you’d have a great show LOL. I think I could do some damage.... And I see my neighbor was there with her awesome goodies....spying some new patterns...and yummy dyed’s that I might have to investigate a bit further. But dang...that Navajo rug of her’s that she has the audacity to put on the FLOOR still yanks my head.... Hmmmm... maybe I best be getting back to my hooking....(and stitching...and punching...and...well, let’s just leave it at that....) ;-)

Your booth is lovely. You sure keep busy with all the goings-on. So many nice rugs and some spectacular Halloween wares for sale. Lots of wool candy. You are like the Everready Bunny and never stop.

Take care and have fun.

It was great to see you & Melissa on Saturday! I love my “heart” necklace. Yes Danville is always a great hook in with lots of wonderful vendors. Have an awesome time in Franklin & I will be waiting for your pictures & review of the town as I’m heading there in October for Kris Miller’s Retreat.
