Progress has been made on Ezra's Farm, but not as much as I had anticipated. I really thought I would be done by now. Missing wool was either located or a close substitute found. A couple areas I have no idea how it was color planned in class, so I am winging it.
{{So I decided to pull a few loops before finishing this post. I sat down in the hooking chair and guess what I found in the tote right next to the chair. Yup . . . missing wool. You have no idea how much time I wasted looking for it. Boy do I feel stoopid!!!}}
In November, I bought one of those amaryllis bulbs that are encased in wax and are totally care free. It finally bloomed in January and I was getting ready to dispose of the bulb when I noticed this.
I was pleasantly surprised to see another bud.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs 😊

Ezra is looking great...looks like you're almost finished. Glad you found the missing wool?? Or maybe not LOL? Don't feel stupid. We've all had "moments" like that. How cool is that the amaryllis?! I've never seen ones in wax like that. Totally care-free...that's what I need. I have very few indoor plants anymore due to the cats (one particularly loves eating anything that even looks like a plant) and the few I had didn't come through my illness too well. Like your meme...and I know the feeling. Happy birth month nonetheless. ~et~
Am embarrassed to say I've done equally as stupid stuff as that. Sheesh, you are almost done with Ezra, and all I did was get the horse hooked (of course the horse) and already the 'plus one' has been set aside. And here you said you thought I'd finish mine before you did. HA!
Hmmmm, so let me guess which decade this is...but I won't guess here.
Ezra is looking mighty fine! At least you found your wool. Alas mine is still missing and I know its not next to my chair as I already did look there. Oh well, it will come up eventually when I dont need it. I have never been good at indoor plants so I would have thought my plant was dead and it would have been in the trash long ago....glad yours is sprouting up now. I dont try anymore. Janice
I’m loving your “Ezra” hooked rug…I did this pattern in punch needle, such a fun pattern! I’m thinking your upcoming birthday is the one I hit in August! Remember it’s only a number!! Looking forward to seeing you soon!
I've always liked Ezra's Pattern. I find when I stop looking for something I usually find it. Glad it all came together for you. I have (for the first time) an Amaryllis like that. It did massive blooms and more seem to be coming. Not familiar with how it's supposed to work at all. I'll cut off the oldies and inspect what's happening in there. March is a good birthday month!
