Mother's Day Finish ~ UPDATED

Happy Day after Mother's Day.  I hope you all had a good day, though I'm sure it was different than the normal Mother's Day.  Mine was pretty much like every day has been for the last how many days?  My younger son and girlfriend did stop by (we kept our distance!) and I got a call from older son . . . Billy Vegas as he is known.  Take out with DSO from Five Guys.  Life is good :)

I did have a Mother's Day finish.  Bittersweet Runner by Crows on the Ledge Wool Studio.  One of my readers mentioned that the pattern was not on the website, but if interested, I'm sure you could contact Donna about it.  I am pleased at how it came out and I think the recipient will be happy.

UPDATE:  I was in contact with Donna (she's an Ohio gal) and the pattern is available in her etsy shop.

The colors are truest in this picture.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs :)

Ohmy gosh! I love that runner, Lauren! It is beautiful and I love the stitched stems. I need to get my applique out and start stitching. Five Guys sounds so good! We had a big lunch, topped off with the humongous cookies my daughter made for me...I didn't get hungry till 10 pm!

That is such a wonderful runner! What an amazing job you did. I have decided I do not like to do them that much. Still plodding along on the one I have to do.

What a great job you did on that runner. As with your loops your stitches are also evenly spaced and perfect.

Your runner turned out beautiful and your stitching is perfection like Julie's stitching.

It's been a beautiful May day but we may have rain tomorrow. Maybe this is where Mayday Mayday comes from as an SOS distress signal. lol.
Are we already May 11? Where is the time going?

Beautiful piece, always love wool runners and table toppers.
I hear. you, today it was sunny and warm and we get ready to go out and it is raining, so we waited and got out for a bit. Then I come home and outside it is raining and snowing on the house and the back yard is sunny, haha.

Hi Lauren,
Happy you had nice Mother's Day!! Definitely a different one this year, but happy to be remembered by our children and the special man in our life!! Five Guys sure does sound yummy right now, too!! Jeff grilled salmon and we had red skins, asparagus, and lemon cake!!
Your runner is just gorgeous and whoever receives it will just love it!!!! You really do stitch and hook beautifully, my friend!!!
I thought your little header for your post was so cute, but they forgot to mention it may be in the 100's!! Guess they aren't from Arizona!!!!!
Thanks so much for you lovely comments about my rug!! It really meant so much to me!!!
Hope you have a great week!!!
Heart Hugs~

Another incredible work of art...you really are a perfectionist. Like stitchingnana said, I can't believe you're going to gift it either...and eeek.....all those little circles to stitch around! Makes me understand why I keep saying "nah, maybe later" to the applique projects I havewaiting for me. Five Guys, huh? I've never had one (or the four others)... ;-) I think we have one somethere in town.....might have to try it. Raining here....like, umm....lots. ~Robin~

Your blog post is a reminder that sometimes, the most meaningful gifts are not the ones with the highest price tags, but rather the ones that come from the heart and reflect our love and gratitude.

In a world often filled with consumerism, your blog stands out as a beacon of authenticity and mindfulness. It encourages us to slow down, connect with our creativity, and give from the heart, just as you did with your Mother's Day gift.
