Progress ~ Old & New

Pearl and Earl.  I'm about half done with the background and lovin' the colors.

I started on my applique sewing book.  This will be the cover.

And finally a little cross stitch start.  It's the Anna B. Sampler by Country Rustic Primitives.

Last but not least, another picture of the "girls".  That's Ernestine to the left and Cindy Lou to the right.  I am sitting to the left stitching.  They are almost always touching.  Just cracks me up.  You can see the CLW has a stuffed toy between her legs and another on the floor.  The toys are everywhere.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs :)
Lauren

I am loving the dark, muddy, colors of Pearl and Earl....and wow....you’re a fast stitcher...I’m not even going to bother posting my progress LOL.... I do so love Jenny’s designs...so simple and always sweet. Love your little Puffin & Co. needle nanny...I have one too....but it’s a witch’s hat....go figure! Cute pic of the girls...bet they will miss each other when DSO comes home.... We’re gearing up for another major storm this weekend, so hey...I might get some stitching in... Still haven’t found my wool though...and my crack supplier down the road is doing a workshop, so I can’t go get a fix from her. Happy Weekend-To-Be..... ET

I love how Ernestine and CLW enjoy each other's company (except for at eating time, of course). I hope the baby gate is still working for that! Love the wool applique you're doing from your last post and this one too. And the hooking is beautiful too!

Such cutie pies. My goodness you have been busy. I love that rug, and I love your new book you are making and your counted cross stitch is perfect. That is the one thing I love about cold weather.

You put me to shame Lauren. Such nice work you do. I love your rug with its rich earthy tones. You do such even stitches and your work is perfection, just like Julie's. I love seeing what you're working on. Those two look so innocent when their bellies are full. So cute.

25 days to spring. Yay.
Hugs, Julia
