It was a glorious day on Ohio's north coast. Upper 50's and sunny. More than 60* warmer than just a few days ago. Heaven :) Though it won't last, it was a wonderful break.
Hooking at Sauder was a great little get away. Never did make it to the antique mall. The two days always pass much too quickly. This is the only picture I took of a rug while there. Rita just finished the binding on Cape Ann, a pattern by Edyth O'Neill, color planned in a Sauder Rug Week class with Laurie Lausen. It is breathtaking! The colors are much more vibrant in person.
I made some progress on Pearl and Earl. Soon I will just have background left to hook.
Remember this little snowman I hooked for my BFF?
I figured it was time she switched out the snowman for something Valentine-y. Since she has several of my hooked hearts, I did a quick little applique for her.
There is still time to enter the little give-away for the hooked heart shown here. I need to get busy and add the patchwork back.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs :)

Glad you had a good time at the hook in -- also that it's warmer there now! Warmer here too, thank goodness! Your rug looks wonderful!
beautiful rugs! happy to know that it warmed up a bit there too ~ we are watching for signs of daffodils peeking!

I enjoyed yesterday afternoon's weather myself. The 40s felt like summer compared to what we had last week. Pearl and Earl is coming along nicely.
Glad you had a great time at Sauder. You are making progress with your new rug. The little heart applique is sweet and your stitches are perfection.
After the bitter cold blast, we are having some warmer temperature so I'm not complaining. $4 days to spring. It's getting closer every day.

These warmer temps are so uplifting !
I am actually thinking I am hearing more bird chatter, as the temps warm.

I love your rug!! I love seeing your hooking. Your heart is awesome. I have wanted to do that rug that you took a picture of since I started hooking.
It is just beautiful.
Wow...absolutely love that Cape Ann...great color choices in my book! And I am loving Pearl and Earl too...I’m really fascinated by the dark outlining....it really sets things off...will be curious to see your background choice. Sweet little heart too...lucky friend you have there.... Yes, we had some respite from the cold, but were stumbling around blind in pea-soup-thick fog for 2 days, and now are in the Ice Age. I really think living in Nod is a penance....for what, I’m not entirely sure (but I have a few ideas LOL). Smiles & Monday Hugs ~ Robin
Your rug is amazing...so love the colors! Glad you had a great time in Sauder. The heart applique is sweet too. The warmer temps were a pleasant surprise but the ice storm is coming in now. UGH. Janice
