More Crazy Weather ~

I know it's not just northern Ohio that is having these wild temperature swings.  Today was in the low 20's but the winds were ferocious making it hurt to be outside.  By Tuesday we are supposed to be at 51* again ~ but just for one day.  I did see a little clump of daffodils right next to the house peeking out of the ground.  That is a good sign :)

Look at this little bunny Bobbie gifted me.  Isn't she just sweet?  She is wearing a dress made from antique homespun.

Holding a bundle of wool topped with a rug hook, she sports a scissor necklace.

Melissa gave me a yummy wool bundle and some hand dyed wool yarn.  In the little black pouch atop the wool is the neatest pin.

Many thanks to you both.  You are the best hooker friends a girl could ask for :)

Each year Sauder gifts us with a little something for attending the retreat.  This year we got these WONDERFUL canvas bags.  I need another tote bag like I need another hole in my head, but this will be put to good use.

I got the backing on another heart.  I have no idea how many of these I have made over the years (I'm guessing at least a dozen) and I don't have one to call my own.  This one got mailed off today.

I don't have enough progress on Pearl and Earl to give you an update.  Hopefully next post.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs :)
Lauren

I love that rabbit, is it felted? I think I could make something like that and looks simple enough, but not if it is an original design?
Love how she is holding wool and the hook, really clever. I like the idea of doing felted mice too, just need to sit down and try.

What beautiful gifts! The heart you made is just lovely too.
I really like that bunny. What weather you are having. Even we have had strange weather, lots of snow in places that haven't had snow in 25 years.
I hope you have a lovely time hooking though.

that bunny is so sweet!! You do have wonderful friends. We have had the same weather here Monday and Tuesday 50 today 10 and blowing a gale. Freezing rain in between I am ready for spring and no flowers could come up through this pile of snow and ice for awhile.

It's very windy here today and it's 3 ℃ or 37.4 ℉. It rained yesterday so the snow is all icy.
I love your cute hooking rabbit. Pretty soon you won't have any spare place to put it all. Such generous and wonderful friends. I still haven't picked the hook.
Take care, hugs, Julia

You have such good friends because you are one yourself. Great gifts from them and love that bunny with all the required hooking essentials. Think it is time for you to make a heart of your own to enjoy.

Gah!!! I absolutely LOVE your hookin’ hare LOL!! Too stinking adorable...and, wool, well, that is always a precious gift....and I know you put it to its highest and best use.... Dang...those hearts of yours steal my heart.... The backs are works of art in and of themselves....I would have to display it hooked side out one day and back side out the next. Crazy weather here too...8” of snow on Tuesday, a bout of freezing rain, another 8” or so on Thursday, then -30* windchills, and now snow again tomorrow. Enough already..... Hope your weekend is off to a great start.... Hugs & Smiles ~ Robin

Wonderful blog! I truly love how it’s uncomplicated on my eyes, and the detail is well written. Many people want their dogs to be miniature versions of themselves and because of this dog clothing has become very popular. Although it was once only ever seen on very small toy dogs it has become popular to get clothing for your larger breeds as well. There are many different outfits and costumes to choose from and knowing which ones to choose can be a challenge. Recently I have purchased Autumn Dog Coat from www.pugyou.net, where you can find exclusively dedicated to Pugs and is devoted to offering as many creative and unique Pug themed designs as possible.

Love that bunny -- so cute! Lovely gifts for sure. You need to keep a heart for yourself sometime, you know! And yes, the weather is a roller coaster this year. And it can't stay snow when it snows -- there always has to be scary freezing rain too. Sigh. And the wind! I hate wind. lol!
