Happy Valentine's Day! I finished the cross stitch, 3, maybe 4 years ago. I just hate finally finishing them in to little pinkeeps. My corners are always wonky. I know I have one more small one someplace but it went in to hiding.
I ironed this one countless times and could not get the fold line out. I was in a hurry to finish it to gift a friend so did not have time to search online for a solution. It is not as noticeable in person.
Two more little finishes. Once I finally start on them, they really do not take that long. The larger of the two was also gifted.
My heart hooked rugs.

The heart was needle felted to the little mat after it was hooked and bound. Quilt and coverlet hearts in the box ~ and one hooked one. |
An idea I found on social media. I think the skewers need stained. Whether that happens or not is another story 😁
Thanks so much for stopping by.

Love your pretty cross stitch pin keeps ...they are sweet. You have a wonderful collection of hooked heart rugs and lots of other wonderful hearts !!! My 6 year old twin grand daughters would have fun trying to count the hearts you have , lucky they aren't perfect at counting to 100 yet ....I have hearts tucked here , there & everywhere ...they think I have enough ! LOL Cute idea of the paper hearts on a wooden dowel . Happy Valentines Day to you too !!!
I was too lazy to pull out anything related to Valentines Day. And now I don't have to put them back, lol.
The angel reminds me of a Letty LaCroix type doll. I used to make a lot of her dolls when venting. And yeah, they were ugly, but faces only a mother could love.
OOPS, Make that a NETTY LaCroix.
Loving all of your hearts. So beautiful. Which reminds...where did I put my hooked hearts? Oh well. Too late now. LOL Also loving the cross stitch pieces. I want to stitch more Valentine pillows and other holidays too now. Happy Valentine's Day! PS...I think that prim Cupid is adorable whatever DSO thinks. :-) Janice
You have a wonderful collection of hearts!! It’s fun to pull out all the hearts on gloomy, cloudy, rainy days! I especially love your one hooked heart & how you finished the edges!! I need to do a couple small mats that way! I’m thinking spring….soon will be time to it put out all the bunny decorations! Have a great Saturday, hope you are not snowed in or iced in! On second thought, may be a good day to hook or stitch!
