Ezra's Farm ~

Ezra's Farm was started in a class with Maria Barton of Star Rug Company in September.  It is a Dru Ann Jeffries ~ Cinnamon Creek Folk Art pattern sold in Maria's etsy shop.  I chose the small version which is 22' x 19.5".  Nary a loop had been pulled since class.  I would like to finish this before my next hooking class mid March.

So . . . I get out the tote with the pattern and wool.  I swear I did not steal borrow any of the wool to use elsewhere.  So why is wool missing?  One of hooking's little mysteries.  I think I found a couple of the wools that had been put away on shelves (now that is MOST unusual!!!) and not sure of a couple others.  I guess I am going to have to just wing it and find something close.  I thought I learned my lesson taking wool from a color planned project, but apparently not.

Only 32 days until spring.  I swear February is the looooongest month of winter in Ohio.  We are in a winter wonderland today.  I think this is the most snow we have had all winter, so I cannot complain . . . too much.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs 😊
Lauren

Hmmm...I vaguely remember Ezra. I'm sure you'll get it done before your next hooking adventure. I had that problem with my Welcome Cats....after several years waiting out WWR, I had no idea what wool went where or where the rest of the wool absconded to. Not fun. We've had quite a bit of snow here too...not all at once but 10" here, 7" there, etc. and it adds up. Starting tonight, the bitter cold returns. Happy hooking...~Robin~

Your white stuff looks like the first snow here which lasted 3 weeks. Thankfully the last one which was 7.5" if I recall correctly, and was gone after the rain came. So NOW Woodland Lake has officially returned. Weatherman said next week we will have another winter snow storm.
Nice to see Ezra's Farm in que again.

I have to check out your pattern, it looks like a fun hooking project .
We got 4" of snow over night on top of a few inches that were all ice . Then we got sleet , freezing rain & pouring rain today ...it is a sloppy . thick slushy mess on the driveway , sidewalks & roads. Will freeze over night ....I am so done with Winter !!!

It is still snowing here. We had freezing rain earlier this morning and it has snowed for 2 days now, So ready for Spring. I truly believe this is Mother Nature's way of getting back at us. I dont remember this rug at all...but hope you find your wool and finish it. I went to get out my rug that I stopped hooking on yesterday and for the life of me could not find the wool either that I picked out for it. UGH Its like having a lost sock from the dryer. always a mystery when I find things have been put away where they actually belong, especially when I didn't do that. {wink}
