Back to Reality ~

I'm back home and back to reality.  Hooking world is a lot more fun.  I swear, I hooked for three days . . . morning until bedtime . . . and as usual accomplished about 1/3 of what I was hoping to.  By now, I should have learned it is not going to happen, but I wouldn't trade it for anything.

I did finish this pumpkin with hand torn strips that was not quite half done.

I was positive I would have Dancing Bunnies completely hooked . . . sorry Saundra . . . close but not quite.  Nary a loop was pulled on The Poser.

Every spring my son and I try to be the first to mow the lawn.  I sent him this yesterday.  (I meant to do it when the snow was a foot high and completely forgot.)  He told me that I won 😁

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs 😊
Lauren

You are too funny. But you won!! I started cleaning out the flower beds, might even get them mulched before summer. I hope you had loads of fun at your retreat, even though you didn't get a lot of hooking done. I have continued to work on my rug. I have a bit of one bird, and a little background left to do. But itll be done soon.

That is funny. I had a neighbor like that who was always trying to compete with me with mowing the lawn and /or hanging the clothes on the line earlier. She was retired and I ran a business and had to hang my clothes on the line really early before I opened my shop at 8:00am.

I'm glad you got home safe and that you had a wonderful time.

Love your pumpkin and that fabulous dancing patriotic bunny rug.

Hugs, Julia

Yes you win! Lucky you getting with other hookers. I find I never get much done either to much talking eating and laughing

Not as much hooked but the time spent with fellow hookers, is what makes it worth it.
I tend to hook less with others but it also motivates me to do more when I get home.

That's my girl...punkin's in March. Yeah, life as it should be. (And I am talking punkins...not hooking with friends.) Your Dancing Bunnies are the very best. I am ticked off that you did that...now I want to do it like this. Snot. LOL on the lawn mowing. You'd be very (VERY) hard pressed getting a lawn mower out of the garage in these parts...heck, I'm concerned about getting a Land Rover out of my garage tomorrow tomorrow morning. We had another day of "clear skies with flurries" that ended with several inches of flurries. ~et~

Haha that is funny. I love those pumpkins any time of year. I love that background you chose for your dancing bunnies. I really do love how your patriotic bunnies look.
I am so glad you had such a fun time. It always sounds just amazing to hook for three days.
