Five Years Ago Today ~

Holy hell 😁 It was five years ago today that I retired.  I have no idea where the time has gone.  I truly believed I would be hooking and creating for hours each and every day.  Most days, I am lucky to find an hour.  No complaints, though.  I am truly loving retirement.

Happy Labor Day

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs 😊

Has it been 5 years already? It seems impossible but I know time doesn't stop working just because we retire, lol. To m it feels more like 2 years since you retired.

Happy Labor Day my dear loyal friend. I'm making salsa again today. The wood stove is lit and I love the wood heat on this rainy day.

Take care and go ahead and pull some loops.
Hugs, Julia

Hard to believe it has been 5 years!!! I can recall you being on the fence on whether to or not because of no regular income. So glad you chose to retire as I knew you'd enjoy it.

WOW five whole years. Time sure does fly. Hopefully I will be able to retire some day soon. Fingers crossed. Then I can work my store and create stuff every day in between customers. Janice

Hells' bells... 5 years? Seriously??? I actually REMEMBER when you decided to retire. Now that really makes me feel like time is spinning out of control while I am still standing completely and utterly still. Happy Reiriversary???

The years fly by. Funny how chores will expand to fill up a day the second you retire!

I tell myself if I retired I would have hours and hours to work on my projects. However; I find when I am home for a long week-end or PTO time, I get very little accomplished. Am going to have to practice much more disciple if I am going to make a dent in those dozens of projects I want to finish.

I have the same problem, all this time but it gets eaten up by other activities, really want to spend more time creating and getting outside.
