#9

Just a quick hello!  I'm hoping one and all had a sweet Easter.  Here on Ohio's north coast the weather was drop dead gorgeous.  It is once again today, but hopefully we will get some much needed rain soon.

Ernestine celebrated birthday #9 yesterday.  She was not very cooperative in her party hat 😁

No real progress to show on my hit and miss rug.  I started a little cross stitch piece, too, but not enough to share.  Hopefully next time.

My son and I have this lawn mowing rivalry going each spring ~ who mows first.  Last week he sent me this.

Darn!  He won this year, but I will get him next year.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs 😊
Lauren

Just beautiful here today in Western , Massachusetts too !!! The rest of the week looks great too. We need rain too , everything is very dry . Plants are growing & grass is turning green , but need rain in order to get that lawn mower going. Enjoy the beautiful weather ! No hooking going on here ....just enjoying being outside !

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Ernestine. I would put the lawnmower war to a challenge, that your son comes to mow your lawn since he such a winning pro. After all, you're his mother. ( I don't know how far away from you does he lives?)

It snowed yesterday and rain all night. Today is just a grey day.
Hugs, Julia

I cut my grass before Easter as it was looking ragged with those tall weeds. Lucky you that small dogs have a longer life than big dogs. My boy Ben was 9 1/2 years old when he left me. Miss him so.

Ernestine looks wonderful! She is a reluctant beauty. She doesn't want to flaunt her gorgeous looks before us lesser mortals. So, your son won the Mowing Madness Match. Hmmm. Maybe you could have an Autumn Blowout and the first one to leaf-blow a pile of leaves gets bragging rights!

Happy birthday to Ernestine! We grilled Easter Sunday. Bob did not feel like ham with it being so nice outside. Gorgeous today too! Hopefully it will stay now. Janice

Ernestine is too stinking cute. The weather here has been beautiful. Hoping for rain to knock the pollen down tomorrow.
