Hook-y Stuff ~

My hit 'n miss runner is complete and the binding has been started.  The finished size is just over 1' x 4'.  Though I used many worms, the worm farm is far from being depleted.  One of these days I need to sort through the bins.  So many are pieces that will never be used ~ too short, too narrow, too ragged.

I also hooked this little mat that will be a door prize at the Crooked River hook in this fall.  I need to tweak the nose a bit.  The free pattern can be found here.

I tried taking another picture of my fractur black wool.  This picture came out much better.  It is a smokey grayish color.

Molly . . . just because.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Be safe and stay healthy.
Pug hugs :)
Lauren

SHEESH woman, that is one big honking runner you hooked. It looks mawvelous darlin'. Molly is so dang cute I just want to kiss her between the nose and those lips. Yeah, sounds creepy but that's what I used to do with my beloved fur babies.

Ok...there is nothing NOT to love about this post...that runner is AHHHMAZING! And honking huge! (I had a weak moment and actually bought a pattern online...Cathy's been backed up...not sure what I would do with just a pattern and no wool...but anyways...turns out it is like 5' long. Ummm...I think NOT. Guess that will go in a "what was I thinking pile" LOL). That little kitty is adorable!!! Definitely going to do that one although you will never see it posted because my hooking is sad compared to yours. And that wool you dyed is to die for....I liked it yesterday...and love it today. Happy Easter Weekend ~Robin~

Kitty background has such great motion and perfect little bumps. The color really shows the loop pattern. Nice work girl!

Methinks that fraktur black would make a great Molly rug! :-)
Love the kitty rug as well as the hit n miss! The pic with the hit n miss looks like a professional pi from Country Sampler! :-)

Your hit and miss is so lovely and the kitty mat also looks professionally done. Such evenness in your hooking. Molly is all cuteness and your wool looks amazing. This is what I was imagining in my mind's eyes when I first read about your fraktur black-dyed wool.

Really nice Lauren - as usual!
Did you draw the squares for the hit or miss rug or did you free hand as you went? Going to make one as a window seat cover and wondering if I need to draw it out.
Hope all is well in your neck of the woods.
