Pi Day ~

March 14 is Pi Day. It is a day to celebrate the mathematical constant pi (π) and to eat lots of pie. ... Celebrated in countries that follow the month/day (m/dd) date format, because the digits in the date, March 14 or 3/14, are the first three digits of π (3.14), Pi Day was founded by Physicist Larry Shaw in 1988.

What says springtime more than tulips?  Well, actually, to me, daffodils and crocuses, but a tulip is easier to hook :)  I needed to update my "box" for spring, so I hooked a tall tulip.

It was so much fun, I hooked two more.  One was gifted to dear friend Dolly when we met for lunch this week.

The other (about 4 1/2" x 11 1/2") is being given away.  As always, the rules are simple.  Leave a comment on this post or send me an email with give-away as the subject.  I will choose a winner on March 20, the first day of spring (and also my birthday).  The winner must contact me within three days.  Please, no sharing on social media.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs :)
Lauren

Since I haven't been following this blog previously, please don't include me in the giveaway. That lovely piece should go to someone who have been here time and again. I do just want to tell you how much I love your Antique Floral in the previous post.

I adore tulips....but it will be a while before we see them in Nod.... I LOVE your hooked version and it would make a wonderful gift for your bday twin if I were to get so lucky LOL. I love, love, love how you have it displayed in the box!! I forget if I have seen what else you have displayed in it??? I may have to copy that idea too. Well....gee....then I'd have to hook or stitch something to display in it....so maybe not LOL.... Hope you're enjoying another fabulous day of retirement! ~ET~

Oh these are so lovely and Springy. Would love the chance to win one. Guess I should not have made a comment regarding COVID-19. It brought out the meanie in others. No worries though. Everyone does have there own opinion and we should support our president whomever he may be. I was not a fan of President Obama, but I still supported him too. Janice

As a quilter, I have always admired rug hooking. I tried rug hooking once but I failed miserably so stuck with my quilting.
Would love to win the tulip - very generous of you.
