It Doesn't Take Much to Amuse Me ~

I've never had one let alone two butt potatoes :)  Like I said, it doesn't take much to amuse me these days.

Nothing to share on the stitchy or hooky front, so I will share more pictures of the yard.

Siberian iris are one of my absolute favorites.

As I've previously mentioned, the irises are beautiful this year and very prolific.

My yard is a jungle.

My baby bathtub planter.  I just bought some Miracle Gro today so hopefully this will begin to fill in soon.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs :)
Lauren

LOL on the butt taters.... Your yard is beautiful!!! I wouldn't go near mine if mine were so prolific...because of those you know...slithery things. Snowdog alerted me to a pile of them (yes, a PILE....I think they were do the "dirty") yesterday. Thank goodness for him or I would have probably would have stepped on them. Hence, I keep my plants far far apart LOL. I love the beauty of Siberian Irises, but don't like that they are so difficult to weed with the roots always being so close to the ground...that and the fact that almost all of mine always eventually go to yellow...which is NOT one of my favorite colors.... See...for once something we don't have in common LOL! ~Robin~

Butt potatoes..never seen that before. Beautiful gardens! I use to have every color of the rainbow in irises at my old house. I do miss them. Janice

I've had a toothache for quite some time so I see teeth. Bigfoot's molars.

I see brick but your home is sided, so is that lovely porch with swing in back? I would porches like that. A lot of work but a great yard to sit and enjoy.

The shape of your potato is similar to molars 🦷. Very unique. I am impressed with the flowers that grow pretty in your yard.

And to think you picked them out of the whole bunch just to have something to write about, lol. Beautiful flowers.

Hi Lauren,
I just can't get over those potatoes!!! I have never seen any like that, but to think you found two of them is amazing!! Marly's comment that they looked like Big Foot's molars just cracked me up!!!!
Your yard is GORGEOUS!!!! I have no yard or grass to speak of here in AZ and even if I did, it would NEVER look like yours!! I would love to have some greenery but sadly would just kill it anyway, so I don't even try!! Miracle grow doesn't even work!!! Guess we all have our talents and I know mine ISN'T gardening!!! Plus, I am such a mosquito magnet, if I was in your yard and did not have on bug spray, they would carry me off!! lol
Take care and don't work too hard!!! 110 here today and I'm staying in with my friend AC!!!

This post and last post of your flowers and gardens are just gorgeous Lauren! I wish I had time to put out more blooming plants or throw out some seeds - our landscaping is looking lackluster but I just don't have time for it and DH back won't take getting down on his knees to do anything in the flower beds. We have a lawn service and have just this year let them start doing our hedge trimming too.
glad to hear all is well - keep it that way ! mel

Nothing like fun shaped food, lol.
Your gardens are beautiful, I am still working on my small one, but hoping to expand it around the yard.

LOL I almost spit out my coffee at the Butt Potatoes. I don't believe I've ever seen that variety. Your flowers and yard are fabulous!! My irises outdid themselves this year, too. Love, love, love the baby bathtub. LOL My husband had a few leaky horse troughs out in the back of our property. I used them this year to rehome some of my irises. Best idea ever! LOL The dogs can't lay on them and the gophers can't eat them. Have a wonderful weekend.
