Spring has officially arrived which means I have begun another trip around the sun 😁 Thankfully with our freeze last week, the spring buds bounced back.
Mini daffodils are one of my favorites and this year they are blooming profusely. Not so much with some of my other clumps of daffs. Some have no buds at all.
The hellebores are blooming.
Hyacinth will soon be sharing their wonderful fragrance.
Every year about this time I get antsy and must get out the lawnmower. It was a bit chilly and I'm sure anyone driving by thought I was nuts (may not be far from the truth), but I did get it mowed before a few sprinkles started.
I have finally pulled a few loops on my camp rug started in January. A few are always better than none. The colors for the leaves chosen by the teacher do not allow me to do that blotchy background so it will mostly be antique darks which is my go-to background.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs 😊
Lauren

Still chilly here , we wish Spring weather would return ..
Love the colors you are hooking with !!!
A couple people in my neighborhood have made their first cut. Before I can use mine I've got to have my sweet neighbor remove a strap that wrapped itself around the top of the blade.
Looks like you've still got some interest in the background with the textured weave. Glad you did even a few loops, makes it closer to getting near the finish line.
I missed it my friend. Happy Birthday!
A rainy day here today but cold. No Spring flowers yet here either. Love seeing yours coming up though. Also love your newest rug. Janice
Happy birthday wishes again “twin.” Yes, these trips around the sun are going quicker and quicker, aren’t they? They’re making me dizzy. You have to be one of the only people I know who gets “antsy” to mow lawn. Will be a long, long, while before anyone is mowing here. We’re still “plowing.” Your rug is looking fabulous as always. Your “go-to” backgrounds are perfect - don’t change them. And those impossibly perfect loops. Geesh!
Yes it has been a wild start to spring here in Ohio. We had a doozy of a thunder storm last nite complete with hail. The lightening was spectacular. All that after a warm windy day. Happy hooking on your rug. I always admire your loops. You accomplish such pretty movement throughout your piece
