Now that the mulch is all down (even though I probably could use a couple more bags ~ ain't happenin') I can concentrate on deadheading and just tidying up.
Random pics around the yard today . . . in no special order. My yard is small, but lots of perennials and yard junk.
My helper today who wasn't much help 😁
Martha Washington geranium. I have never purchased one before because of the cost, but well worth it with its prolific blooms.
Love my head planter ~ found at Michaels.
Sweet little lamb ~ a gift from a friend who know me well. (Thanks, Laura!)
Hard to see, but the brick says OHIO. An old glass insulator on a piece of rebar used as a hose guide.
Maypop, also know as purple passion flower. So very pretty but so very invasive!
Monday - Wednesday I am off to a hooking class with Donna Hrkman. She is a true artist. I will be a fish out of the water hooking with a smaller cut than I prefer, but I have heard she is such a wonderful teacher that I want the opportunity to take a class with her. You can view some of her amazing rugs here.
Two of my all time favorites.

What will you be hooking in your class? Your yard looks lovely. I sure enjoy looking at all your venues.
Your hard work in the yard has paid off, it's beautiful.
I didn't have Donna as a teacher but met her at Cape May and she is very engaging, takes time to explain her rugs in the show even tho I wasn't her student. It is one thing to see her work in a photo on line and totally different to see them in person.
Am looking forward to see your accomplishments when you return.
Your flowers and yard art are all looking mighty fine! That passion flower is pretty. Did not know it was invasive though. How close are you to Lake Erie? I am a half hour from Lake Huron. Janice
Your flowers are beautiful & I love all your garden art! So inviting, wish I could stop by & sit a spell! You will love your class with Donna, she is amazing! And I’m not a fine hooker either but she certainly makes it all beautiful & easy!!
I’m off to our Wooly Horse Retreat, it’s going to be a fun week!
