This 1944 song is now being pulled from radio stations because it "celebrates sexual assault and domestic violence". I personally think it's political correctness gone mad. I found the following on Facebook and I think it is worth sharing.

Oh PULEEZE! Enough political correctness already. I was called out at rug camp about something silly and was so taken aback and was so unexpected that I was speechless. Will definitely be prepared next time because I've had it up to my nose with the PC crap.

Rap music about degrading women is OK though. You don't even have to read anything into the lyrics because there is no mistaking the words.
Bob and I were talking about this yesterday. So tired of all of this political BS. I will still play all of these songs and watch the movies and everything else. These haters are not going to spoil my Christmas. Janice
LOL, I was just listening to that on alexa and really never listened to the words and realized it did sound a bit sexist, like the guy was trying to seduce her. Funny how we have listened to songs all our lives without thinking about what they actually say.

We are cold too but tis the season. The world has gone mad they are banning everything! We will be burning books in town square next. They do ban books still from schools etc. I am tired of it all.

I think this is what happens when people have nothing else to complain about. I feel sorry for our little kids, no Christmas parties, cards & gifts to exchange in school. Gee, haven't they even stopped them from bringing cupcakes to school on their birthday? Private schools will spring up & let kids be kids, celebrate this fun holiday the way we all did when we were young. Truly feel sorry for guys in this environment, they must be terrified to even try to give a kiss. No slap in the face these days, more like slapped with a lawsuit or complaint of sexual harassment/job loss etc. Madness, just madness.
The majority of society has evolved into a mass of energy suckers. I wonder....will this ever end?

Isn't it all just insane? Just think of some of the old Nursery Rhymes, it's a wonder someone hasn't jumped on those!
All of the political correctness is just crazy. I will continue to listen to all of this music. I am so glad you posted this, I thought about it.
