I attended my first quilt show a while back, put on by the Lorain County Piecemakers. I admire quilting and sometimes think I'd like to give it a try, but don't have enough time now for all I want to do without adding more to my to-do list.
This was a mini quilt, maybe 18" (?) square.
I can't imagine piecing this.
A couple more little quilts. The first one reminds me of my Ellie :(
I think my favorite quilt block is the nine patch.
Fun little pumpkins.
I loved the vintage quilts.
By the dated blocks, the above quilt must have taken nearly 5 years to complete.
~ Happy Thanksgiving ~
Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs :)

Hi Lauren, such beautiful quilts, such great patterns. I love quilts, can never have enough....hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving❤️Hugs Francine.
Thanks for the lovely quilt show. Those little itsy bitsy quilts must be a headache to make. I don't think I would have the patience to even attempt making one. I bet they must be pricey too.
I love, love quilts and I'm especially fond of applique ones, mainly because I love stitching by hand. I've never tried applique on wool like you do.
Enjoy your Thanksgiving this week.
Hugs, Julia

Happy Thanksgiving to you too. I always think the same thing, I just don't have the time. Nor the patience I don't think.

Hi Lauren-
Ever hear that saying...."How do you eat an elephant? Answer: One bite at a time?" Well... that's about how quilts are made....one block at a time! :-) Yes. Quilting is another "teacher of patience" since most quilts aren't made in a day... but, it is a nice way to relax... perhaps one day you will give it a try! :-)
Happy Thanksgiving!!!
Hi Lauren,
We are with family ... Hope all are enjoying "Glad Thanksgiving Tidings" as we are.
Peace and Blessing for all,
Barb
