Well, I finally have a finish. Woo hoo. This rug seemed to take forever. The finished size is 16" x 50". Pattern by Red Barn Rugs. Class with Cathy Stephan.
I love the center flower. (Thanks, Cathy!) The first picture was taken with a flash and the second without. The color is somewhere in between.
I'm not too sure about the star flowers. I hooked them slightly different.
Of course I won't be rushing to bind it before vacation, so will take another look-see when I get home, but I most likely will leave them as-is.
Tomorrow I have a class with Rebekah L. Smith. It should be fun but I sure don't need another project.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs :)

It's beautiful and I love the colors as well. Enjoy your vacation you lucky girl and Happy 4th of July.
We are celebrating Canada 150th Birthday tomorrow on Canada Day. All I have for decorations is a little red Maple Leaf Canadian flag for the table. I just came in from yard work at (:40 so I'm having a glass of wine and I'm off to bed.

We have canada day today! Hooking to be done!!
A real stunner! I just love how the b&w honeycomb wool makes the flower colors pop. Poor baby, I feel your pain with the rug binding. Maybe a couple little elves will have it finished for you by the time you get back from vacation....ya think??

WOW! I love that rug! I think it's one of the best you've ever done.
Spectacular. I think this is surely one of my favorites that you have hooked. I would leave the flowers. They are both lovely. I have used that little black and white dirty wool on several projects. Amazing how it adds that special little oomph. Have fun on your trip!
