I will be heading to the airport soon. Heading west to spend a long weekend with my #1 bad boy, Bill. He moved to Las Vegas in 2008. He loves it there. When the housing boom crashed, he went to work in Los Angeles for a week and spent six years there 😖. He did not like LA not one little bit and was happy when he finally got back to LV.
Once again the temps have risen to the upper 90's. Last week was much more pleasant . . . but Bill would rather have upper 90's there than 80* in Ohio. It's a dry heat 😁😁😁
We will probably take in a show and of course I must visit the fountain at the Bellagio and go down to the old strip. So much fun to people watch and see the entertainers. I am such a gambler I am prepared to lose $20 in the slot machines . . . maybe.
Will be back in a few days.
Thanks so much for stopping by.

Have fun and safe travels. Looking forward to reading about your adventures. Janice
Have a great time and hope you win at the Casino !
Cannot wait to see those 'people watch' photos of the insane people who live there. And must admit I also loved the dry heat when I lived in California. But glad I don't live there now and am sure I'd be very disgusted at what has happened to San Francisco~ we loved going to Pier 39. But that was back 79-80's. Hope bill likes his fish, lol.
Have a safe trip and a wonderful time!

Enjoy your time with your son!
I hope, by now, you have safely landed and are settled in enjoying the first of your LV time. It's been years since I was there....say hello to Freemont Street for me. (And enjoy the warmth...It snowed today...and another freeze warning here tonight. :-( )
I won't buy a lottery ticket since they raised the price so $20 is high rolling to me!! Good luck, have fun, be careful.
After spending a week at the beach, I am so thankful for the heat. I hope your time with your son is wonderful. I read through your posts, oh gosh I am so sorry about your wrist. Your post on why we can't go cashless, is so good. I have been so upset that we are going that way. They tried it in the late 70s didn't they? I remember my father in law just started using barter. He liked that. He had his own business then and it worked for him. They changed the tune pretty fast when people started doing that. I wonder what it will take for us to do that again. I will get off my soapbox. Haha. I hope you have so much fun with your son.
