Ernestine eight years ago at Christmas ~ the year DSO adopted her. Look at that black face!
And now at age 13 1/2. That grey face melts my heart.
Poor girl is showing her age ~ arthritis and hip dysplasia 😭. Even for a furkid, growing old is not for sissies.

Aww gosh, I see a bit of me in Miss Ernestine’s expression there. I enjoyed my 60’s but a year into the 70’s decade has me achey and slow. What a precious little lady she is
I feel pretty special ,since I met Mz Ernestine ! Precious Fur Baby !!!
When we bred Shumba we had her OFA certified and made sure the stud was certified as well. Didn't know smaller dogs had hip problems.
