I have finally finished the hooking on the heart hook along hosted by Saundra. The finished size is 33" x 22.5". I rehooked the center of the left heart and like it much better. Of course the dreaded binding hasn't been started.
I have been a crazy Christmas decorating fool for over a week. I have never started this early (only ever once started before Thanksgiving). I have the BIG tree left to trim which is a major task (I always leave that for last), but other than a few piddly things, the inside will be done. I don't do too much outside, but have that left and want to put together some crocks filled with greens. If I can pull this off and have a relatively stress-free Christmas season, it will be my Christmas miracle ๐
We woke up to our first real snow of the season. Maybe 2-3" ~ and schools are closed. Seriously??? I have no recollection (I know I am old!) of school ever being closed for snow or the cold.
The view out my dining room window.
Thanks so much for stopping by.

Congrats on your finished hearts rug which look wonderful and am sure you are glad that's out of the way. The snow look pretty thru your window and in a photo on your blog. That's exactly the way I hope to enjoy all the snow this winter...in a photo.
Love the colors you used for your Heart challenge ! So pretty Lauren !
We got 5 " of snow today ! Schools didn't close , but parents could pick up their kids early . The worst part , is now it is a mix of sleet & rain ....so will be an icy mess.
Will feel nice to have your house all decorated ,so you can sit back enjoy all your pretty things !
Lovely window display. We NEVER had as many snow days as kids do these days. Just raising wimpy kids I say. Your color choices in the latest rug are just wonderful. Janice
Your challenge rug turned out great! Of course we didn't expect anything less. ;-) I love the centers of your hearts!! That's crazy closing schools for that amount of snow. There would hardly ever be school here after mid-November through May if that's what happened here. We had about 4" on Saturday - a far cry from what was expected - and it's snowed a bit every day since but now we're so dang cold. By the day after tomorrow our high is to be 10ยบ and the lows in the negative numbers. And year after year I get colder and colder. Love the last photo - so beautiful. (But, I see a snowman outlined by your curtains...complete with stick arms lOL)
Well...ok, so his arms are coming out of his hat. Hey...it's my delusion ok?
We have about 8 inches and still snowing.
Yea for having a stress free Christmas
Cathy
