Cone of Shame ~

Or shall I say donut of shame?  This inflatable cone is so much better than the hard plastic ones.  She is able to eat and drink (though she has not yet 😭).

As you can guess, Harper was spayed yesterday.  They said she did great.  We had an uneventful hour ride home from the vet's office.  She sat quietly on my lap, looking like Yoda!  She was pretty drugged up.

Came in the house, drank some water and proceeded to throw up on my hooked rug in the kitchen.  At least the other times she got sick was on a hard surface.

I thought I would be able to hook a bit with her sitting next to me.  Uh, well that wasn't meant to be.  She insisted on being on my lap, so I obliged.  I wish I could figure out how to post the video of her on my lap, but I am not that tech smart 😓.  It was a hoot the pug noises she was making!

Still looking like Yoda . . . giving me the stink eye.

She is contentedly sleeping beside me while I type this post.  I am hoping she has a speedy recovery and in two weeks she will be ready to find her furever home.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Harper hugs 😊
Lauren

She just looks so miserable. She is so cute though. Poor girl. I do hope she will be happy in her new home. I am at work, but I am hoping to get back to my blog soon.

Oh she does look like she is giving you the stink eye. Glad everything went well and hope she will get better soon. Hopefully you will be able to clean your rug. Janice

Poor baby , but that nice soft cone is great ! Will it be hard for you to let her go ? She is a lucky girl to have been able to stay with you . I hope her new home will be just as special as yours.

I hated those cones and seems none of my fur babies figured it out and ran into things. And they were totally miserable. LOL, that last photo does make her look like Yoda.

LOL...those are some of the funniest photos I've seen. Yes, definitely, Yoda!! Aww....heal quickly girl. Guess I misunderstood. Somehow I thought you had adopted her and were not just fostering her. Hope she finds someplace as wonderful.

Glad she did well with the surgery. The donut photos are a riot. Not for her though!
