Slow Hooking ~

Stitchers always talk about the enjoyment of slow stitching.  Well, I've never heard a hooker brag about slow hooking, but that is exactly what I have been doing (and I am not bragging about it!).  I've almost got Proud Lion's body done.  As you may recall, the mane was hooked eight years ago.  I still have the end of his tail to hook and I know the face will be the absolutely last thing I hook.

This just made me LOL!!!

Tomorrow I am off to Sauder Village for a one day visit to rug week.  I hope to have many pictures to share and hopefully I won't find much I can't live without . . . sigh.  I keep telling myself, "NO WOOL", "NO WOOL", "NO WOOL"!!!  Let's see if I listen to that inner voice.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs 😊

Great transition in colors and movement on the body of the lion. Wish my PC was on so I could see it better but will do that tomorrow morning. Looking forward to the Sauder photos.
