Bad Again ~

I got the brilliant idea of heading to two of my favorite shops with a few of my favorite antiquing friends.  Of course I was going to be good and just look and come home empty handed.  Yeah right 😳

At the first shop I found this wonderful bunny chocolate mold, bigger than any I have . . . sigh.

Then I found this little vintage wall shelf with old quilt pieces folded below.

Little did I know that little shelf most likely had a drawer at one time.  And lookee what I have hanging on the wall going up to the second floor.  A near identical shelf!  No wonder I liked it.

If you do a Google lens search, several identical shelves are pictured so it must have been very common and mass produced.  This auction says it was a pipe box.  Whodda thunk?

At the second shop, I am happy that friend Laura spotted the antique sampler before I did or I may have been really bad 😁

Time to go work on binding Primitive Chickens.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs 😊
Lauren

You're incorrigible, lol. If you really didn't want to come home with anything then why go look? Think we both know the answer to that one. So you have another collection going on with pipe shelves.

Gah! I WANT that bunny mold LOL. I really can't tell you the last time I bought a chocolate mold - must be years and years already. They got so prohibitely expensive. Too funny about the wall box. When I started reading about your new box, I was wondering whether you had room for another wall box. ;-) (I'm so very jealous of those with more wall space than me...which is virtually everybody.

What do I see here? Junk. Goodwill, two thrift shops, never found a single item. You must have so many places to visit, some of them from Tweedthistle videos?

You made me laugh out loud I am always bringing something home lol.
I try so hard to downsize. You found some good pieces I wouldn't be able to pass up the rabbit.

What great finds and the reason I have avoided the antique thrift stores, lol. The bunny is perfect to go with your collections.
