All I have done for the last week is decorate. I thought I would be done by now because I had a bit done before Thanksgiving. I guess I am just certifiable 😁. It has gotten to the point it is not fun!!! I am close but close isn't quite good enough . . . lol.
My only non-decorating accomplishment is finally finishing Mr. Jingles. He was almost done months ago, but the background and holly leaves were too close in value and he got put in a time out. I needed him finished for a Christmas gift that is being shipped out tomorrow, so I decided to try and put a "beauty" line around the leaves in lieu of reverse hooking. He sports antique shoe button eyes and vintage black buttons on his chest. I am happy with the result.
That's it. Time to crash.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs 😊

I know this is not the first Mr. Jingles you've hooked, but I have loved each and every one. I really should hook it one of these years. I have thrown a few decorations up but think it's gonna have to be it. Too much going on to do more...and, uhm...no baking, planning or shopping done either. How, exactly, does this happen?????? ~Robin~ (You, GT, must keep on with the decorating as I am waiting (rather impatiently) for the Christmas video tour!)
Decorating for Christmas keeps me sane during the dark of winter....lol! LOVE Mr. Jingles... the beauty line is perfect as it looks like frost!
Mr. Jingles is great! I hope we'll see a video before Christmas is put back into storage. Really enjoyed the fall showing.
Hope J is doing as well as can be.
Those holly leaves look like they have a coating of snow around the edges. Good choice vs. reverse hooking. He's a winner.
Saundra is right, the holly does look like they were kissed with a bit of snow. I really like how Mr Jingles’ scarf tails hang and he has the sweetest eyes. Your background hooking is so pretty.
Love how you hooked Mr Jingles too & that beauty line is perfect !!!
I took me weeks to decorate. Your snowman and beauty line is fantastic. I did a beauty trick like you around a flower once, but I used a fabric strip. It worked just like yours did. Janice
