A post needs at least a picture or two, so here's a couple of Ellie this evening curled up on the couch in my hooking room. She found a spot in the sun and was as happy as could be. This is her favorite spot ~ nine times out of ten this is where you will find her. I think she has made herself quite at home and has settled in nicely. We still both miss momma Judy!
As promised, I've drawn the winners for my four year anniversary give away. Congrats to Barb (entered via email), Willow, Marie and Rita. Please email me with your necklace choice and snail mail address (and be sure to put give-away in the subject line so I don't miss it).

Now, I don't mean to be a curmudgeon (I do love that word), but I don't have a give-away to get new followers. I don't have others "advertise" it. I do it to try to reward my loyal readers. Last week I drew the winner of the rug pattern. It was someone I am not familiar with, which is fine, but I've not yet heard from her. Do you think I'm unreasonable if I draw another name in a few days? I don't want to be one of those crabby bloggers so please tell me if you think I'm wrong!!!
Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs :)

First congrats to the lucky winners. They will love their spoon necklace, as I do.
Nobody would ever consider you a curmudgeon. You're too kind for that. If you can't reach the winner by email and she hasn't responded in over a week, I don't think it is unreasonable to draw again. Just my opinion. :)
Congrats to your winners. Nope, I think you are doing a giveaway for your friends. Not to mention it is your blog you can do anything you want. :) Just my two cents. If you were doing a giveaway for new followers you would have said so.
I love the pictures of Ellie. She looks so happy and content with you.
Congratulations to the winners and no, you are not wrong, I have had that happen too and not fair to you.
Ellie looks like she is quite happy in her new home.

You crabby never! If you win a prize the least you can do is show up to collect it. I say give me the pattern I will collect the prize and your problem will be solved:) Congrats to the winners of the necklace I know I love mine!

What a pretty girl Miss Ellie is and looking very comfy and at home on the couch.
I agree with Cathy of Acorn Hollow. A week is a bit long to wait for the winner to check in to see if they won. I say pick another name. Too many followers are drooling for the prize.
Hugs,
JB
Ellie looks like such a little sweetie!
Congrats to the lucky winners, I love my necklace!
Thanks so much Lauren for giving us all a chance at winning your beautiful necklaces and pattern.

Congrats to the girls! I always give 3 days for a winner to respond then re draw. Never understand why people enter if they really don't want it. I've won a few times after the person didn't claim as well.Warm Blessings! Amy
Sweet dog.
Congrats to winners.
congrats ladies! and no you are not crabby. denise
You are not crabby... anything but. I was a lucky winner of your giveaway (magazine) and was out of the country on vacation but you held on for a few days and I was able to get under the wire and contact you.. Maybe this person is the same?? I think a week is long enough to hear back.. just my personal opinion.
Congrat's to the necklace winners...
Well you just made the announcement so if she is reading your blog on a regular basis she would write you. So I say you are free to draw another name gurl.
Sure does look like Ellie feels quite at home. Hope she is learning the 'new' code of ethic and doggie manners. Must say she is a cutie!!!!!!!! An hope she had a great play date with the other girlz.

Hi Lauren,
I congratulate the winners...how very lucky.
No you aren't being unreasonable...I think they probably have had enough time too.
I find that when I do something special like this my comments double and triple...people that aren't even in the following box....I think we should make these giveaways to our current followers - reward them with their loyalty...that's what I'm going to be doing when I have another one.
Oh Miss Ellie has a sad face but I think most dogs do - if she's going to a special spot then I'd say she has settled in quite well.
Blessings,
karen
Yes Lauren it is your blog and you can set the rules but I just got back from 8 days of camping totally off the grid so it is possible to not be able to get connected. But if I had not contacted you and you drew another name I would be totally ok with it. It would be hard to miss your blog you are the first I go to and then follow your blogs on the side!
Congratulations to the three lucky winners! Miss Ellie is one lucky dog, I am so happy she has found a forever home with you, I know her mom would be happy too! Hugs, Julie.
Congrats to the lucky winners!! Look at that sweet, happy puppy. I concur; time to pull another name. :-)
Ellie is adorable!! So is blessed to have you!!
Wooley Hugs,
