I finally got the binding sewn on my belated Christmas present, "Pup", a Magdalena Briner Eby adaptation. It's about time, don't you think?
Bound with the wool I used for the border. My corners are never perfectly mitered. Now all I need is the label :)
I finished hooking Maria's little lamb. Isn't she sweet?
Soft, spring colors for the scallops.
I also completed this little sampler by Falling Star Primitives. The bottom half is not quite stitched as charted. I left out a couple motifs.
Hard to believe another weekend is over. So much to do and so little time . . . sigh.
Hugs :)

Hi Lauren, love your rugs, so sweet the lamb.....guess I will have to pick up my hook and keep trying......Your Sampler is coming along great, Francine.
Good morning Lauren, my your hands have been busy. The lucky recipient of the darling dog rug is going to be very pleased, what a lovely gift. All three projects are just wonderful. Have a lovely day, Julie.
Looks good Lauren. Whoever gets the MB Pup will be lucky. The sheep turned out very nice too.
Your hooking is always so nice...binding is my next step and it scares me...but if I don't do it right and no one turns them over...then I'm home free...lol
Your dog and sheep rug are so sweet.

Oh I love that little sheepie! The soft colors in the scallops just welcome spring! I'm going to try using wool (and maybe ticking) to bind my rugs that won't make it to the floor.
Nice finishes! Just read your last post too - I didn't know to use Heat and Bond on the edges of the rugs - thanks for sharing. ~Ann
You've been busy! I'm especially impressed with your cross stitch project - I haven't done any of that for years and years!
Great wool binding for the doggie. And I love Maria's sheep design as well. You've been busy gurlfren.

I really like how you bounded the back of the rug with wool fabric.
Have a great week.
