Sauder Village rug show ~ 2012
These two room size rugs were incredible. Too bad the colors in the pictures are so washed out.
Guess who these rugs belong to :)
This rug just cracks me up!
The detail of this fine cut rug is unbelievable.
This one, too.
LOVE this rug!!!
Three WONDERFUL versions of the same rug. It's impossible to choose a favorite!
Thanks so much for stopping by.
Pug hugs :)

How could you possibly view so many in one place?? Those large rugs are fabulous and the detail on some others is so fine! I like the ones from the "guess" hooker.
several of those rugs are in the celebration issue of rug hooking magazine. they are just amazing. the girl in red is amazing nothing I would hook but the hooking was so wonderful.

Some of these rugs look more like paintings or photographs. Just amazing.
Thanks for sharing.
Goodness when I look at my piddling little piece that still isn't done I am put to shame at what I see here all the time.
Such dedication to their work. Just beautiful.

Thanks so much lauren, It's so good of you to post all these wonderful rugs for us. How I wish I could go to Sauder village to see it all in person.
I would love to have the winter scene rug. It look like a Christmas card. I love it and so many other ones too.Gorgeous, gorgeous rugs.

So many beautiful pieces. I echo Cathy G's comment. It makes me more determined to get to Sauder some year.
More beautiful rugs. I just love your double black cats and the prim cat and dog rug. Do they actually put those room size rugs on the floor???

Hi Lauren, What a bunch of talented ladies!
Such beautiful rugs. Those room size rugs always just amaze me. I am so glad you took so many nice pictures. I am enjoying your trip so much.
Holy Heck. Unlike the commenters before me, this does NOT make me more determined to go to Sauder...It makes me wanna stay away and pretend I can hook, or just give up hooking and go and enjoy other's amazing talent. Wow!! Some of those pieces look like photographs! That strangely mesmerizing woman with the funky hair....incredible! Not that I would HOOK that...but the talent in that piece is incredible!!! Smiles & Dismayed Hugs ~ Robin
Thank you, Lauren, for sharing these wonderful rugs...fabulous!
Hugs,
Linda
Lauren - I was on vacation and didn't get to look at your Sauder photos - always a delight and pleasure to see what was exhibited there - Many thanks for taking photos and putting them up for us to see. I have that clipper ship Oliver Cromwell started - it was fun to see 3 versions - mine is even different still and the color plan is more similar to my mermaid blog header. Maybe it will be finished one fine day - take care Melody
