Around the Village ~

You can learn more about Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill here

The Trustees' Office housed the front desk and the dining room.

The staircase looking up . . .

. . . and down.

Inside.

And the same window from the outside.

The West Family Sister's Shop (1844) , where our room was located.

Around the village.

Stacked stone walls were prevalent not only at Shaker Village, but around the countryside.

The sky one evening after fierce storms rolled through.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Pug hugs :)

I don't know what happened. Yikes....How did I get this far behind?? Holy cats.

Anyway....WOW! Those buildings - and your photos - are GORGEOUS!! I would love to be able to visit there some day. Lucky you... That staircase is amazing. Marly doesn't wanna dust it, but, yikes, I'm not sure I'd even want to walk it! But I would like a stone fence like that around our property. :o) Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin
